Greatest root beer float I've had in a while! Once you walk inside you feel nostalgia in the air with all the decor. The waitress and owner were the friendliest people I've ever met. Food was fantastic and great atmosphere. Hands down and place to check out in Waycross!
Some friends and I met at the Plant Cafe before going to the Waycross Area Community Theater. The food was wonderful (delicious wraps), the service prompt and a plus was Shannon Denbow singing. Super friendly hosts and such a welcome atmosphere.
I enjoy supporting local restaurants over big chains. This place has a good vibe inside with friendly staff and great music! The handmade hamburger had a perfect amount crisp on but was a little dry. The bacon was too crispy and the chili on the chili dog tasted like a canned variety. If I came back through waycross I may not stop here but if I did I would get the hotdog.
First we ask for coffee. It took about 15 minutes or more to get it. Then it was served with powdered creamer!! Not even real milk. Took even longer to get 2 simple chili cheese dogs! We were never asked if everything was ok or even spoken to again except if she could clear our plates! The waitress was friendly and talkative to the locals but not to people she didn’t know! Was very dissatisfied. Will not go back
Friendly - clean food is 2 die 4...famous people has gone there nice 2 be part of small town Waycross is where this lil cafe is...I wld definitely go back

Burger was terrific, a local staple and a must stop for lunch if your passing through. Welcoming and a neat cafe that shows history in the area.
