Overall, the food is delicious. No argument there. Staff were as usual in a fast food type establishment. Some good, some bad. Overall not bad.

First time eating here... stopped for a late lunch. Had the hamburger steak, with okra, it was ok. Forgot to snag a pic, but we will go back and try more of their menu.

Don't get mad at me, my local people. I've dined out from 5 star restaurants along the beaches of Destin to Panama City Beach, but im a country boy, and I like country cooking. In my opinion, Jerry J's needs to update a newer menu. It's okay to keep some of the old favorites, but try some new things, try flavoring your canned beans, greens, and other vegetables. And don't let the popular items sit under the heating lamps so long. I could definitely tell my country fried steak had been out a while. Put someone in charge of timing these things, and if it doesn't get served within the allotted time frame and throw it out or make platters to donate and deliver to the destitute in your area. But change it up. Keep it interesting. Don't become a McDonalds or Burger King. Have a lasagna lunch or fresh catfish filet night. Take a risk, and I think you'll be surprised at how many more clientele visit more frequently and be open for suggestions of cooks who can and want to make homemade dishes. Just my 2 cents worth.

Super friendly and more than happy to help customers. Food was good and served fast. Great updated inside dining.

I hate to say it but this was not the usual Jerry J's experience. The pork chops were warm but not hot, the same for the fried okra. The greens were hot but poorly seasoned. Biscuit was definitely a leftover from lunch. Service was good as well as the atmosphere. My only thought might be that the cook was new. Not our usual experience.

Jerry Js use to be one of my main spots. But it isn't like it use to be.
Portions. And some of the customer service.
I even ordered Texas Toast, and whomever made it DIDNT toast both sides. I consider that being inconsiderate of other ppl food.
Maybe 1 day it'll get back as it use to be

Pork chops were okay, cornbread was dry, rice and gravy were good. Staff was very friendly and efficient.

Had the pork chops, grilled, not fried. Very tender. A bit salty, but would definitely have them again. Cabbage really good, and cole slaw was ok. Restaurant appears to be very clean. When I am working in this area again, will make this my lunch stop. That is actually 2 pork chops. One on the other. I am 250 lbs and it was enough to have for lunch, but not so much I cannot go back to work.
