WOW! My taste buds went on a trip out of this world ! The food was so amazing - vegan gourmet experience. AJ our server made it even more special ! We almost ordered everything on the menu because it all looked so amazing ! Top class

Amazing food as always. The ramen is fire and our server was super cool. This is our 3rd time visiting Asheville, and we go to Plant every time (not even vegans, the food is that good). This time did feel a tad different because we decided we would just try to be walk-ins on a Wednesday around 7:45. The lobby was pretty full when we walked in, and the hostess actually laughed when we said we didn't have a reservation. It kind of felt like we were trying to get into Dorsia or something. She didn't take our name or quote us a rough time, just told us it would be a very long time if we wanted to eat, and cut us off so we just walked away awkwardly. Kind of felt like she just wanted us to leave. I heard her laugh and do it to the
walk-in couple behind us as well. But we just waited about 30 minutes and were sat in the dining room with about 4 open tables, so I'm glad we stuck around. Will try the reservation deal next time. PS The brownie was insanely good.

First off the owner is amazing and very accommodating. We had a reservation and the hostess and manager cancelled on us because we did not reply to a text message from a personal number to confirm a reservation we had made weeks in advance. We were never told we would have to confirm our reservation. What’s the point of a reservation if you have to make another immediately before? They were very rude and combative on the phone and not at all honest with their mistake—that they had given our table away. Thankfully the owner overhead and made everything right. The servers were very polite and professional and the food was amazing. It’s a shame such a nice restaurant doesn’t have a manager that’s up to par.

Absolutely phenomenal food and atmosphere. Our server, AJ, was so kind and helpful. They’re very responsive to allergies and will accommodate around them. Can’t wait to have another meal there soon!

I am extremely impressed. I ordered the cauliflower, Portobello Mushroom, and "The Blackout" (a dessert). The cauliflower was delicious. The Portobello Mushroom reminded me of the most tender steak; the sauces were savory. The Blackout dessert had an excessive amount of chocolate, but it was very tasty and a good way to end the meal.

This has been my favorite vegetarian restaurant to date! My wife and I are excited to visit again.

Felt like modern day segregation - having to sit basically near the bathroom, dirty dishes, and freezing back door that they kept opening as our food got cold within minutes of being served. Felt like segregation by not being allowed to sit in the dining room. Was forced to sit in a bar area even though my husbad asked for a table whenever they opened up - we never got one but saw several other people being sat. Felt bullied by the rude, unfriendly and unprofessional host. Food was ok but honestly not worth coming back for. We were excited upon arriving but it just got worse and worse. We will NOT be back and will not recommend to any friends or family.

This is the way a curated and elegant dining experience should be.

Completely unique and unmatched when it comes to menu building and atmosphere.

You will be pushed out of your comfort zone to try something completely new that you never even considered.

The cheese plate is truly an experience itself, truly mind blowing.

I hadn't been back in six years and oh boy, was it worth the wait.

Very delicious and creative vegan food with amazing deserts and homemade fizzy drinks. The wine selection looked good but we didn't have any. The atmosphere is cozy yet fairly upscale and casual at the same time, and the music smooth and not too loud - people have great conversations. Service was wonderful. I'm a vegan foodie and highly recommend Plant.

The menu says it all, but I ordered the pecan-encrusted tempeh, over sautéed greens, butternut squash, and cauliflower mashed, topped with fennel.

Megan, my server, even provided local coffee house suggestions (Izzy's - great recommendation) for after dinner explorations. Next time, I'll definitely stay for dessert 🤘🤘

Amazing plant-based dining experience. The home made cheese plate was absolutely delicious. A nice selection of cocktails, beers and wine. The entire menu looked great and I wish I could have tried it all. They offer a tasting menu Monday to Thursday with advanced notice. Reservations are suggested.
