Service is great, very friendly people. They're always great about ordering in books for you and getting to you once they are in.

Love the atmosphere. Plenty of knowledgeable staff and a wide selection of inventory. There Starbucks makes wonderful coffee and great snacks. Conveniently tucked in an easily accessible area on Commercial Drive.

Barnes and Noble is always a nice place to find peace and quiet in a laid back environment. I've had some problems with this location with having to wait in line for long times, even when the store is not too crowded. The Starbucks inside is a nice touch and has enough offerings to please anyone in the family

It's been the premier casual shopping location for me since college. I remember when this store was first built and what an experience that was.
Still the best place for books and intellectual pursuits in the area, along with an in house Starbucks cafe.
Great place to wait for a movie time at the Marquee up the road, too.

The store has a coffee shop with ample seating and lighting. Great selection of books. Friendly staff that do help and recommend titles. If they don't have a book in stovk they will order it and call you when its in.

Very nice place to spend some quiet time with your favorite books! It has little children area with plenty of books and toys option. The place has a cafe section with pretty big seating area and best of all they serve Starbucks coffee and accessories! Love this place.

Just what you'd expect from a well-maintained/staffed B&N. Clean, well lit and the usual pricey prices. They have a Starbucks which is great because I'm from Cali and I need my Frapps! Bad part is they don't accept Starbucks gift cards so I still have to drive the thruway to use my gift cards.

This is one of a few Barnes and Nobles left. Good magazine and book selection but slowly switching to games and accessories. They do have a cafe but the line is usually long. Good service also and a great place to bring a laptop.

I absolutely adore this bookstore!!! Everything is easy to get to, and there is always staff all around to help if you need it. I had trouble finding a certain series of books I wanted, but luckily an employee was there to help me look. It ended up being that the store did not carry that particular series, but he recommended another place for me to look, he also told me I could find it online. The only thing that would make the store better is more employees on the register. The place gets pretty busy during the holidays (from past experiences) and the line gets very long, as there is (for some reason) no more than two people on the registers. But it is still an amazing bookstore!!

I really enjoy Barnes and Noble in New Hartford, the management and employees are really friendly and helpful. The store itself is kind of run down and sort dirty to be honest, but that is the fault of the corporate turmoil over the past few years. Hoping the new owners will funnel some money back into the stores, I will keep visiting!
