I really do enjoy this bookstore. It has a vast amount of books to offer. The store is really clean and the staff are helpful. The cafe is a very lovely place to sit down and enjoy. Although they have a vast amount of books, the only reason they have lost a star is because of some selections being limited. There are some sets of books that can be only some of a set for a while. Other than that, the store is amazing to go to and I will gladly go back many times more.

This store is great. A lot of people are coming and going. The store has been rearranged and can be confusing. Over all a good place with some great deals on clearance stuff.

Everyone I've dealt with here has been very helpful and knowledgeable. The staff is always pleasant and caring. I also prefer going to the Starbucks Cafe here than the Starbucks store across the way.

What you need and expect from the Big Book Store. They seem under-staffed lately (2021), so be patient regarding check out times. The Cafe is up and running, and the food is decent. The children's section is fun for indoor time with Little Ones, and they often feature story time and craft events. The local section holds some unique books featuring Utica and the Mohawk Valley. Local authors hold signings and meet & greet events.
