Hard to tell how good this bookstore really is as rather than being a cozy and comfortable place to buy books and or coffee it feels more like a freezer everybody there has to wear coats to keep themselves from freezing. But this is nothing to be surprised about as I was told that is company policy to keep the store super cold and uncomfortable to push buyers and disuade real book lovers.

I love this store!!! It's beautiful, has every book and category possible, clean, organized, includes a Starbucks shop and they employ very helpful workers. I especially love the kids section!!!! My mom purchases the monthly book for my daughter, and they both get excited to go find out what it is!

I love this bookstore! The staff was very helpful in finding the books that I wanted. When two books weren't on the shelves they ordered them and had them sent to my house. The friendly staff also pointed out the sale items to help me choose books for my first grandchild. I will definitely be back!

This was our families first post covid shut down visit, and I was absolutely stunned at the woke direction that seems to permeate the end caps and some of the isles. Managed to explain to my children that their skin color doesnt mean they hate people. Absolutely stunned. I told my children that I would prefer that they bought their books at Amazon...and we left. And will never, ever, be back.
Small price I'm sure for Barnes and noble, but still a price.

I really needed a Nook for a special 16 birthday gift. They Didn't think they had any but they were going to ask the boss. She called me right back and had one left for me! A miracle! They had a blue cover too. The staff took care of me! I appreciate that they called me and they held it for me. I ran to store to get it. It made my Grandson so happy? Great service?

They are awesome. Customer service manager broke up a three pack of the Pocket Naturalist guide so l could get just the wildflowers one. I am doing a pollinators survey for NYPA so a true life saver.

I was looking for a 2020 monthly planner. 4 employees asked I needed any assistance. 2 showed me where the 75% off items were. All were very polite. The cashier was also very polite. They made me feel good for shopping there.

It’s no wonder why Barnes and Noble is struggling to stay afloat in the retail market. Everything in the store is overpriced and expensive. The sell DVDs for $29.99. Who actually wants a DVD anymore?!? They are literally worthless once purchased. You can’t resell them for 1/10th of what you paid for them.

And the price on the books? Holy smokes who is their intended customer? The prices for media is ridiculous, and you can watch and read almost anything you want online for free. On top of the overpriced outdated merchandise, there is a skeleton crew of employees at best. You can’t find anybody to assist you, there wasn’t even an employee at the service desk.

I wanted to purchase a book I found on sale, and I was directed by a sign at the cash wraps to take my purchase to the cafe area to pay for it. What kind of store can’t even pay a cashier to cash out their customers? The line at the cafe was several people deep, and there was only one employee trying to take orders and make the refreshments. If your store is hurting so bad you can’t even pay to staff it, it’s time to close up shop.

Good location . Staff always polite and professional . Always helpful to me . Now it is April 2 and nothing has changed except that here at the cafe the staff continues to work harder than before and though to the volume of traffic there may be an occasional backup the line moves quickly along .
