Only place in town with decent wifi, but it's a packed house with little to no seating available. Food was just ok, nothing too spectacular. Portion sizes a bit smaller than diners downstate. Good place to go for a bite to eat and conversate with a small group.

Gave it one star just to write a review. Did not like it, the pastie I had was way to over cooked. Moved the salty gravy aside and seen how brown the pastie really was. My wife's grilled chicken sandwich was not fully cooked in the middle. Will not go back there again, not to mention it was pretty expensive for what we ordered.

Excellent tasting breakfast pasties. Very courteous and professional server. She was extremely well organized.

Loved this little gem of a historic diner! Food was so good, get the breakfast pasty with gravy! Service was friendly and fast! Go early to get a table, well worth the wait though!

Had to have a pastie in michigan. This historic place did not disappoint.

This world needs more diners like this. Places where to talk to one another and share the salt and pepper. They are crazy busy as COVID took out most of the other breakfast places in St Ignace, but the crew has an excellent attitude and work ethic. Food was great, filling.

Best pie ever! Hard working, personable staff. Clean with a old fashioned dinner atmosphere. Hearty soups, delicious pasties, and excellent breakfast. Can’t beat the price!

Quaint diner serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and homemade pies.

SOMEONE CALL THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT!!!!!! Very nasty place, random junk all over where they make food, Slow service, little place, not that busy, still wait 45 minutes for food. Fries were reheated and dry. But the thing that really was ridiculous was the rudeness of what might have been the owner. Not sure if it was our tattoos , the fact the we are young or tourists that apparently offended this woman but she clearly doesn’t need to be in the service industry.

Definitely the place to go for breakfast or lunch. Reasonably priced...local folks running it. Old fashioned waitresses with a quick wit. We loved to stop in really quick and order the breakfast English muffin sandwich with egg, cheese, and sausage...then take it with us to hop on the ferry over to the island! It took us half the trip to eat it...very hearty sandwich and worth every penny! Call ahead if you need it even faster! Love it and we will be back! ❤😇❤
