Adorable diner, complete with friendly, funny "snappy" service! I loved all 3 of the ladies running the place. Since I showed up a few minutes before closing time I just grabbed a few things "to go" and it was delicious!! The cream of mushroom soup is one of best I've ever had, and the thick hand cut french fries were excellent!! They even gave me a couple of the homemade potato chips to taste, which were excellent as well. I'm coming back soon!!

We missed another popular place by 15 minutes, But this place was around the way a bit,, & these nice people were open til 2. We walked in at like 1:40. The service was great! [We left the car parked and walked along the main street, up to the Marina.]

Beware that breakfast ends at 11- other than that, amazing experience. Great food and incredibly friendly staff. A huge staple for up north. I wish I lived closer so I could come here more often. Cool piece of history too.

B-M-L stands for Brenda and her two daughters. You won't find that advertised anywhere. We asked.
One could argue that this place could be "better" in so many ways...yet, somehow, it is "perfect" just the way it is! Good food and good prices. Full of local personality. I loved absolutely everything about it (including the "bad").
The pasties were delicious. Whitefish portion on our salad was very generous. Thank you!

Great little home town spot to stop for breakfast!! Located downtown among a number of local shops, it's in the perfect location, also, right across from the ferries that venture over to Mackinac Island! I had the ham and cheese omelette with American fries and wheat toast. Potatoes were a little oily, but nothing that stopped me from finishing my plate!! This little spot fills up fast, serving breakfast from 7am to 11am, it's not uncommon to have to wait to be seated but trust me, it will be worth it! The fast and friendly servers will get you seated in no time!

Great place downtown to grab some breakfast before venturing out for the day. I had the small breakfast sandwich and a side of American fries! Everything was pretty spot on and tasty. The food had a slight oily taste, but nothing to keepe from finishing my plate. This place does tend to be a little busy so be prepared to wait, but I'll be worth it!

Really good food at a great price. My advice is if u plan on going here, go early or u will be waiting awhile. I was fortunate to get there right after they opened and quickly after we got seated the place filled up. Some people ended up not waiting long and leaving. There was only one waitress. She was very fast and efficient. Again, this place is smaller. But the food is very good and at a great price. The place has a 50’s feel to it and a blast from the past.

St Ignace, Michigan, Bentley’s perfect breakfast, pasties with gravy? Loved it. It is a welcome place to Upper Peninsula, lot’s of shops, motels, rides to Mackinaw, you can have a good taste of chocolate fudge and ice cream without going to an island.

Food? Delicious diner fare. Staff? Super friendly and hard working. Value? Totally worth it! If you’re in St. Ignace, stop by this quintessential diner for some great food and kitschy vibes. Two thumbs up. Highly recommend!
