Bentley's B-M-L Cafe

It was unique little cafe, food was okay and the coffee was good unfortunately the service was not great. It was not busy yet our coffee cups went un-filled and first cup was cold. The servers we not friendly and seemed impatient. They did warm up but it was a little to late. They made us feel like an inconvenience on our first visit right off the start, we won’t be returning. Found a better breakfast place the next morning. 2 stars is for the food being okay for the price and the history of the building but bad service is costly.

Great place! Wow, my first time there and I felt right at home. The service I received was personal and friendly 😁. I ordered a bowl of chicken soup and listened to the patrons talking just like old friends. I ordered 2 frozen chicken pasties to go paid my bill and headed out. I will go back soon! Can't wait 😍

Love this place! It's a must to stop here any time I'm in town. Fresh pies, Good food, friendly service, and hands down the best vanilla malts in the mid-west.

Really good fish dinner with the best fries and Cole slaw I have ever had. The pie was the best. I had cherry, the cinnamon in the pie made it so flavorful!! Will go back. Great service and personable.

If you are not a local don’t go here!!! Worst customer service I’ve ever seen, nasty cold food, prices were outrageous for the quality. I couldn’t wait to get out of there.

One lady got yelled at by the waitress “just because there is a C doesn’t mean you pronounce it!!” Is what she said when they lady said “I can’t wait to go to Mackinac”

The owners should reconsider their “waitress” if they want to stay in business. She clearly thinks she runs the place when in reality she’s nothing but a server.

It was car show we wanted breakfast at 10:00 but had to settle for lunch. Long line because of car show. I had nachos my daughter had Chilli cheese fries. Both were bland and not tasty. If you visit for breakfast when the town is not so busy I do not think you would be disappointed

Website states you can order ahead. I called 30 minutes ahead and told them exactly when I would arrive. Had to ask if they wanted a name for the order. I arrived exactly when I said I would, cute retro place. Paid for the order only to discover they had not even started making it. Waited for it to be made and packaged, left and arrived at our destination only to realize they didn't give us any condiments though she stated the silverware and all that was needed was in the bag (hotdogs and several others of fries were part of the order) and got 2 orders wrong, even though they were read back to me correctly. So disappointed and my kids are mad I can't give them what they were eagerly expecting because that is what they were promised since i

Delicious pasty. Wait staff work very hard and have good hearts even if it might not appear so at first. We had a wonderful visit with the only local in the place. Busy, but great service and food and atmosphere.

What a difference of a year makes. This place is awful. Slow service, food is barely average, and some breakfast items do not allow for substitutions. The servers are unfriendly and just rude. I will never be back to this place.

Very cute 80's style diner, and even has a juke box! The food is pretty good too.
