Quaint and lovely! Friendly small family diner with tasty and reasonably priced meals. Came here with my family while on vacation and we were happy to have stopped in here! The breakfast came out quick and the eggs were done perfect. Had a piece of cherry pie to treat myself since folks in the shop were raving about the pies and was not disappointed! Super tasty homemade pies!

Patty was awesome! Stopped in today looking for ice cream in the middle of winter and she took great care of us! We will certainly come back for a fresh burger soon! Really awesome environment!

A to the adorable! My perfectly cooked cheeseburger and homemade fries were delectable. The charming old timey Diner atmosphere was so welcoming. Homemade pies and outdoor seating made this dog owner super happy, especially, during covid times. More affordable and better quality then Mackinaw prices. Glad I made the trip over the bridge today.

My waitress was new. It's hard to be a waitress. The waitress that seemed to be the most experienced did not handle anything out of the ordinary well. Prices aren't on the paper take with you menu. The cook made food that was good. I had the Veggie burger myself. No complaints about the food from others I spoke to. The French fries were home fries. So very good. 5 stars for those. The prices were lower than expected. The hours were 7am to 9pm.

WARNING: THIS IS A LOCAL'S DINER.. You may wait literally hours while all the locals get their food and eat first.
Waited an hour and a half for my order, seems the norm for tourists because the local diners and staff have great fun mocking and miming all the tourists who are angry, upset, and walk out in a huff.
BTW, so when you do walk out, they just give your order to the locals.

Note to the owners: You should put a sign up that says "locals only", or just make it a private restaurant. Plenty of us tourists have booked things to do and just don't have hours to spend on a breakfast meal. Not a very nice way to treat people.

Nice small diner with good food and service. The pies look fantastic, and the rest of the menu is really good. Standout items were the pasties, and the bacon, which was thick cut and perfectly cooked.

When we are up in St. Ignace we always come here for homemade pie daily. No matter what kind they have they are all good. Go early for best options and availability.

Small quaint breakfast diner. Not many tables but it moved quick. From what we last heard a lot of places closed down. Be patient with the staff. Working their butt off. Food was excellent. Got the 2 eggs and homeade white toast with sausage and potatoes.
