Boxwood Coffeeshop & Cafe located in Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island, Michigan is a very good place to pick up a snack. We tried the breakfast burrito and it was delicious. We would highly recommend trying it. The wait time is longer than expected. An improvement would be a greater selection of food and drink items.
Our favorite place to get lunch for our picnics at Mission Point. They have everything you need for a perfect picnic by the beach. High end cheeses, crackers, meats, sandwiches and a large variety of drinks. Great quick option to grab food and spend time outdoors enjoying the view. Also love that they allow dogs.
I suggest every coffee shop to try hard not to up-charge for oat or almond milk. That said, this place was out of oat milk when I visited and I hate almond milk, HOWEVER, my latte was so delicious.
The place is clean and cute though it is kind of in a random area of the hotel.
Clean and attractive cafe. It's convenient to have a cafe right in the resort but the prices were kind of silly. Two coffees and a single croissant came to $15.00. I mean, I can go to Tim Hortons or Dunkin' Donuts and get two coffees and a small assortment of baked goods for less money than that.
I get that things in general are a bit more expensive on the island, but geez. For what it's worth, the croissant was tasty.
Was charged $12 for a lemonade and a cinnamon roll. Not sure if they really sell their cinnamon rolls for $8 or if I was double charged. Cinnamon roll wasn’t good, stale and cold.
Very good iced latte Kind of small and maybe too much ice but all around a good latte. Skip the Espresso House cafe their lattes are terrible. Boxwood coffee shop is best on island.
Awesome service Monday August 3rd evening! We got cappuccino and dessert and took those to the white adorandak chairs by the water. Great evening at Mission Point!
