Superb, fresh home cooked meals! I stopped for supper and was so happy that I did as I hadn’t had freshly made biscuits or as delicious mashed potatoes and gravy since my grandmother passed over 30 years ago! My main entree was a four-piece fried chicken dinner. Not so healthy but oh so worth it! It also came with green beans, pickled beets and vinegar Cole slaw. The side servings are very generous portions. I was too full after eating my supper for a piece of pie but couldn’t resist ordering a slice of Coconut Cream pie to go. I think my supper was $14.95 & feel it was great value considering the quality and portions. Dean was my server and he earned a healthy tip! I definitely will go back anytime I travel near the Blue Springs Cafe and recommend you try it too!

This place blew me away. Huge portions. Delicious food. Friendly staff. I highly recommend the lasagna and apple pie for dessert!

Food tasted very good but sides were served luke warm. This was our first time but we'll be back. Great selection of pies.

The food and service was Great! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Saved room for a slice of lemon meringue pie, which was more sweet than tart, but good! Very inviting, and lots of seating.

I have always wanted to stop here on my way to and from Springfield MO to visit a friend and finally did last weekend. On Friday, I had the cheeseburger and fries and on Sunday- the chocolate pie and coffee. Wonderful service and everything was so good. It made my long drive much more enjoyable.

Service was horrible, was seated immediately as there was only three other tables seated, but then wasn't waited on for over 10 minutes. The waiters were all standing around arguing about who had to take our table as no one seemed to want to wait on us. Then as the only black people in there, one of the staff randomly decides to say to us "are you traveling from out of state?" nope, surprise there are local black people.

The food was nothing to ride home about. If you're hungry you would eat it, but that's about all I can say for it.

The bigger problem is they only accept cash. I had just enough cash to pay my check. I didn't have enough to tip the waiter. I felt horrible about it. They do have an ATM machine and they charge an exorbitant sum to get cash out of it. There are no signs that I saw that said they don't accept credit cards. Not as many people will walk around with cash as used to. What would you do if someone only had a credit card on them and didn't know the pin number to get cash off their credit card?

Hi, which I've heard of as beyond compare was good but really nothing special.

Plenty of parking. The place was just about empty. I suspect at least in part that has to do with the cash only situation.

Wonderful food. Mile high pies. Everythings tastes fresh and homemade. Can't say enough good things. Do remember they don't take cards though.

Clean, excellent service by staff. Our food was very good. Meatloaf and chicken and dumplings.
