Great food, all dinners are $9.95 and come with two sides. The real reason to stop here is the pie. They typically have five or six kinds of fruit pie kinds of meringue pies. Always good food

We stopped by on our way home from a weekend trip in St. Louis. Great country atmosphere, friendly service and the food was delicious. Sides were served family style. You get biscuits with apple butterđ cole slaw, picked beets, mashed potatoes with gravy and green beans. So much food! And priced perfectly. Only regret, didn't leave any room to try the pies.

Wow! I donât know what took so long to stop by this gem. Had chicken fried steak. It was wonderful. The gravy was amazing! Great service đmust have cash!!!! They DO NOT take credit cards. Does have ATM in restaurant.

Smelled a mix of nursing home and barn yard soon as I opened the door.
The bathroom was also disgusting and smelled of urine. They've got a vinyl plank floor in a bathroom! I can only imagine how much pee had run underneath that floor.
Sat down to find out they only took cash. Was very thankful that everyone wanted to leave.

Excellent place! Your selection of food plus 2 sides, served family style, delicious biscuits! Good prices. Giant servings! Beer available but their homemade pies are their signature! DELICIOUS! Beautiful restaurant!

Very nice casual atmosphere. Great service, friendly staff. Very reasonable prices. All around good family restaurant. Good food...real mash potatoes, homestyle cooking, known for the foot high pies! Lunch specials for 7.95 includes 2 sides...very reasonable! Good portions. I had the porkchop meal and my friend had the chicken lunch...both were excellent! We did not try the foot high pies, although we did share the chocolate pecan pie warm with ice cream and it was delicious!

Chicken was ok. Price idea 1 adult 1 child with water as beverage and 1 whole pie to go $36. Pie was delicious. Bad news cash or check only and if you don't notice beforehand, their ATM charges a $3 convenience fee.

The Blue Springs Cafe is home to âFoot High Piesâ. I was passing through and couldnât resist that claim to fame.
From the outside, this cafe looked like just about any cafe youâd find along any highway. It was easy to access off of the interstate and had plenty of parking.
As I walked closer toward the entrance, I noticed they had a nice entryway and then a second doorway to go through. The entryway had a country style homey feel to it. It really set the stage. A sign said to seat yourself. Another sign listed their specials.
Their lunch and dinner selections were many and all the food I saw served looked well made, delicious, and portioned generously.
I was there for those âFoot High Piesâ though! I had a piece of cherry pie and a piece of lemon pie. The lemon pie was definitely âFoot Highâ!
Both pieces of pie were fresh and extremely tasty! I had to force myself to slow down because I just wanted to gobble them up. They didnât skimp on the serving size and they sure didnât skimp on the flavor either!
During the early afternoon time that I was there, the servers were all young men. They were very efficient. They did their jobs well.
The cafe interior had that charming country ambiance and all was clean.
They had many fantastic looking pies on display. I would have loved to have taken some home with me, but I was heading out on a Work trip.
Iâll make a point to stop here on my next time through this area.
