Disappointed. We were drawn in by the advertising, that remindered us of Food Network highlighting them. Our experience was not what we hoped for. Bad service, lack luster food, pies were not that flavorful. My coconut pie was hard with strings on coconut in the tough filling. Our coleslaw was unlike any we had ever had, not in a good way. It was slaw in a pool of vinegar and maybe lemon. I did enjoy the cozy feel and clean restrooms. But the bad experience was topped off by the statement "we don't use cards" the ATM charges $3 to get cash. No where did the establishment let you know that you would need cash. I will not make this a stop on my travels.

Great place to stop for pie. We tried three kinds and they were all excellent.
We will be back for more.

Their fried chicken was so juicy and very good and reasonable. And their pie is awesome!

Just not good pie. Meringue was weepy, custard was chunk. So sad. I was so excited to go.

This is the sweetest little local cafe, with wonderful home cooked meals, $7.98 lunches and Incredible Pies!!!! I cannot understate the deliciousness of the pies. The restaurant calls them "foot high" but the size is not the real story. My first trip I had the chocolate cream pie and my husband had the apple. The second trip, my husband had the banana cream and I had the strawberry rhubarb. We agreed that they were the tastiest of those flavor of pies we had ever had.

The reuben and walleye was very good and the prices are are about average.
The homemade pies are made by a lady who knows how to make perfect a pie crust. This restaurant is a must.. and don't forget the pie!

The food was fresh and hearty amounts as well! Dessert was the literal cherry on top. The chocolate meringue was a delight and we will be visiting again!

Server was very nice.
I'm not a huge fan of "family style" but the food was good. (I had "cod chunks", which were three very large pieces of cod, breaded & deep fried.)

The food was plentiful. No complaints about the preparation or taste.
And, as I said, the server was patient with our questions and delivered all items to our party of 6 as pleasantly and efficiently as possible.
