A wonderful cafe that is worth the trip for lunch or pie. Many choices for your entree and did I mention the pie? You won't be disappointed with all of your choices for pie! Don't drive past Blue Springs Cafe!

I was absolutely impressed with the atmosphere and service. Gabe and Peyton went the extra mile to deliver excellent customer service. The food was hot and delicious, and brought out quickly. Gabe ensured our visit was great, and delivered the best customer service I’ve had in a while. Thank you for a great visit. I definitely will be back.

Food was pretty good. Not the best but hey, not the worst. Atmosphere was pretty nice though the boths felt uncomfortable. The servers where nice.

Lots of home cooked food southern style for a great price. Also amazing pies!

Just good food. Chicken and dumplings were good, pie was excellent, and the home style serving was great when trying what other people ordered. Highly recommend. Note: as of this post, they only accept cash or check so be prepared for that.

The fried shrimp was top-shelf. The service was exceptional. The desserts were outstanding. I wouldn't change anything about the experience.

So homey and delicious! Stopped here on a road trip and we're so glad we did! Choose your entree from the wall mounted menus and each meal comes with all you can eat family style biscuits and apple butter, pepper cabbage, pickled beets, mashed potatoes and gravy. We had so many leftovers, including the mile high pie. We had chocolate & lemon meringue-- they both were excellent but the lemon is something else! Service was so friendly, and with that wallpaper it was like stepping into somebody's Nanas house.

Excited we found this hidden gem! We enjoyed the Prime rib buffet and it was awesome!!!! Super friendly and tentative staff. Clean rest rooms, clean tables! Bring cash or a ATM card and save room for huge slices of pumpkin pie for dessert.

Stopped during a road trip to get some "Foot High Pie"! This place is like the original Cracker Barrel. Delicious, home-cooked comfort food. I actually decided on the Strawberry-Rhubarb pie. Worth it! My only issue is that they are a cash-only establishment, and it's not exactly close to home.

we've added this restaurant to our "must stop at" list when traveling through Illinois. we fed our family of 5 (3 hungry teenage boys) at a great price and had a ton to eat!
