My recent stay at the Grand Wailea in Hawaii was a dream come true. This high-end resort is located in the breathtaking Wailea area and boasts sandy stretches of beach, lush golf courses, and fancy shops and dining options.
As soon as I stepped into the lobby, I was blown away by the beauty of the resort. The architecture was stunning, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I felt right at home from the moment I arrived.
One of my favorite experiences during my stay was taking advantage of the photo session that was available to us. The professional photographers captured some stunning shots of my partner and I against the backdrop of the resort, and these photos will always be a special memory for us.
The Grand Wailea has everything you could possibly want in a resort. The multiple pools, including a lazy river and an adults-only pool, were incredible. The spa and fitness center were top-notch, and the beach was just steps away from the property. I even had the opportunity to try some water sports and activities, which was so much fun.
When it came to dining, the Grand Wailea did not disappoint. We tried several restaurants on the property, and each one was absolutely delicious.
I cannot recommend the Grand Wailea enough. From the luxurious amenities to the beautiful setting and friendly staff, every aspect of my stay was truly special. If you're looking for a memorable and luxurious vacation in Hawaii, this resort is the place to be.

We enjoyed our stay here more than words can express. This is one of the only places this past year where customer service remains a priority. Kindness from everyone who worked there at every corner. The location for us was fantastic. Our room- gorgeous. The pools, water slides and lazy river make the property so unique.
Spa is not fully open as it’s under major renovation however our multiple massages were all amazing. Looking forward to returning one day with kids!

The hotel floor we were in was recently renovated (2023). It's spacious and the bathroom is beautiful and relaxing. Staff was very helpful. The water slides and lazy river made for fun family time. We went in April spring break and the pool and beach never felt crowded. The spa and shopping area make it easy to get items if you don't plan on leaving the property. We're definitely returning soon!

Beautiful grounds especially the orchids which were everywhere. I stayed in the chapel wing and the room was very nice with a beautiful view of the ocean/grounds. The spa is undergoing renovation but they still have a temporary set up. I had two massages during my stay- Shout out to Tony who did a wonderful job. The Aloha truck pony had really good brisket/fish tacos. So many pool spots to pick from and also ocean front seating to enjoy the waves. The drinks were good and the service was quick. Overall very happy with this stay and would come back again.

renovations but we hardly noticed. The pools were so much fun, we are retired couple who never even used the adult pool because the slides and lounge service were too much fun. Napua Tower is worth it if you can get in there - no regrets. A great place to stay for any length of time without having to leave the property if you don't want to mess with anything but relaxing. Beach access right there with loungers and towels. Just wonderful.

Dear Wailea Hotel,
I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service that my family and I received during our recent stay at your hotel. We were thoroughly impressed with the level of professionalism, attention to detail, and warmth displayed by your staff, and it truly made our stay a memorable one.
From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted warmly by the front desk staff who promptly checked us in and gave us a detailed tour of the property. Throughout our stay, every member of your team went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met and our stay was comfortable.
The accommodations were outstanding - our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed. The amenities provided were impressive, and we enjoyed the variety of food and beverage options available.
We cannot thank you enough for making our stay at Wailea Hotel such a pleasant one. We will certainly be recommending your hotel to all of our friends and colleagues, and we look forward to returning soon.
Thank you once again for your outstanding service and hospitality!
Sincerely,
Andrew Krause
Can’t say enough great things about this resort. The staff is absolutely amazing! We stayed in a Royal Suite which I highly recommend if you can book it. Fair amount of construction going on but not disruptive. The only disappointing thing is the water elevator is no longer in operation…supposedly can’t get parts. My son volunteered our machine shop to repair it for them….bless his heart. Everything else at this resort is top notch!

Really hard to put into words how awesome experience was at the Grand Wailea! Our room (2 queens) was great with an ocean view! Balcony was spacious for 2 people with a table, 2 comfortable chairs that adjusted for more comfort, an ottoman, and a rack for drying bathing suits. Entire property was incredible and so well maintained. Staff (all of them) were courteous, helpful, and very pleasant! Pools were out-of-this-world! Nine total pools with some containing slides to move to a lower pool. Lazy river present as well and also a cove-style, swim-up bar! Really can't say enough good things about the Grand Wailea! Would (and hopefully will) absolutely return!

The resort is great, very well maintained, the staff is warm, welcoming, and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again, stayed here for 4 nights and the Napa suites are just awesome. I would have given a 5 star but my only complain is the renovation noise around the pool. This is the busiest weekend of the year, and they still plan to renovate at the same time. Just didn’t make sense to me.

I’d put a 1 star, but I want my review to be read.
I want to say that this place is very beautiful, but extremely disorganized. Gratuity is added on every single item, so you don’t get to choice that you tip. Even at the small grab and go shop they add it. Unfortunately being at this high end resort all the employees seem to be on Hawaiian time (slow and no urgency). There were a few gems (employees) that did shine brighter than the rest, and they made the stay much better.
The positive would be that our villa was extremely comfortable and suited the whole gang. I do suggest doing dinner outside of the resort as the food was ok at best. We found better food outside the resort.
I would hope that this place steps up their game as it is a amazing place, but has improvements that need to be done
