Wake Up Coffee Bar

We got the veggie burrito and the fisherman’s breakfast! It was incredibly delicious! There’s a bit of a wait but that’s because we went on a Monday when many other places in the area aren’t open. The staff was kind and helpful. I’d highly recommend this place.

Loved this place when we were visiting Hanalei worth the wait!!!! We loved everything we got my husband and I loved the fisherman’s breakfast sandwich with the ono spread so much we went back again and I got the sausage burrito with the caramelized onions not pictures and it was absolutely amazing 🤩 will be back next time we are in Hanalei for sure!!!!

This place is very quaint, but overall we were underwhelmed by the food. Let start with the good news: I had the Over the Falls, and it was delicious! It’s a piece of French toast over a layer of custard with whipped cream and pineapple on top (every child’s dream breakfast come true.) Sort of pricey for what it was, but it’s Hawaii so what can you do... my boyfriend had the breakfast quesadilla, and it was okay, but nothing we couldn’t make (better) at home. It was essentially a raw tortilla with shredded bag cheese and scrambled eggs inside. Also, we ordered water and it was soapy...

Our waitress was great, and very kind and quick. The food came out quickly.

We just thought it was over priced for an overall mediocre experience.

Ate breakfast several times, nice place- great views. I do understand most people are not too happy with the prices. But I got to tell you, fast service, food is fresh, right to the business. I do not need to sit around and fill my stomach for hours....fast ....fresh... and off to enjoy Kauai. What do you expect...

And it’s in paradise. The Kailua pork burrito is phenomenal. Lots of meat and stuffed with goodness. Make sure to get the hot spice to kick it up a bit. Staff super friendly.

This is the Best Place Ever! Awesome Food, Awesome Service, Awesome View. And Julie, the new owner, is the nicest person on Kauai. When you eat here, Life Is Good!

A charming breakfast cafe and a staple in the quaint town of Hanalei. We tried the Ryboo bagel, breakfast sandwich and the special churro French toast (so good!). Chloe, the owner, was so kind and welcoming. Glad we made it in before our flight back to the mainland!

Food okay , food and delivery was disaster... food wasn't sealed completely, paper bag broke down ... terrible .. okay food . Not better Than neighbors. Attitude and customer relationships , I could see the person taking orders knew other people that was a smile and good attitude with me 0. I would not go there again .

Quirky breakfast place with simple menu but efficient as cheap compared to eating st the hotel or elsewhere. If you ok with basic breakfast options with reasonable prices and taste then this is for you.

The few times I have been there, the same waitress was the only one working with one in the kitchen. She wasn’t the most polite but very good at managing a restaurant full of tables and getting people food, coffee and sat quickly.

Ok service. Mediocre prices. Paid $12 for the plate pictured. Was only offered one refill on coffee. Once they cleared our empty plates they evaporated. It's sad. There's pictures all over the walls of a better time. You can tell this place has been here a long long time, and the owner is probably jaded to the new clientele.
