The Point kitchen + cocktails + sunset

Great view…HORRIBLE service except for the hostesses…they were sweet! Slow servers. Rude bartenders-ours basically threw plates at us. I know this review won’t change your plans bc the view is amazing. Just be prepared for a long wait, rude bartenders, and standard upscale bar food.

I gave 3 stars because the service was excellent and the view of the bay was beautiful. My husbands meal was good, but I had the worst lobster roll ever. They did offer to bring me something else, but I had managed to eat about a fourth of it along with my husbands fries. I even asked what was in it besides tiny pieces of lobster. Our waiter said it was shredded lobster, mayo and basil. Why would they shred lobster? I felt like something else was in it like mostly tuna. We may go again, but I will definately not order the lobster roll.

Very good food. The scallops and grouper were excellent as were the cocktails and wine. Lovely setting on the water.

Food not great. Corn tortillas not grilled and fell apart. One chunck of fish on the tacos👎. Ahi wrap scimped out on the fish too

Thank god I paid for my meal with a gift card! I would not have been happy if I had to take $91 out of my pocket for this bad meal. If I had read all of the bad comments about the lobster roll before I went, I wouldn't have order it. The lobster had a shredded texture while tasting like dry tuna fish out of a can! Felt bad for the waitress! She was overworked and really tried her best to provide good service even though she was the hostess, bartender, waitress and had to bus the tables as well.

I had my 70 th Birthday celebration up stairs on the outdoor deck, everything was great, I want to say a word of appreciation to our server Cassandra! She was great, took our orders and served us with perfection!
It was a lovely place to celebrate. The food was delish.

I have celiac disease and this restaurant had a few items marked gluten free on the menu. I informed the server I have celiac and he let me know that despite some appetizers being marked gluten free, the fryer is shared. I'm appreciative of his knowledge and that information. I really wish though that they wouldn't mark them as gluten free when they're really not. Some people don't like to advertise their celiac out of embarrassment (I don't mind!), but it's best to always tell your server for this very reason. Don't make assumptions for the sake of your health. I ordered the shrimp cocktail and grilled herb chicken breast. It was all very good. My family had the fried calamari and bang shrimp, both liked by everyone. It's a beautiful setting as well, right on the water with docks to watch the fish and/or take some nice photos. My kids enjoyed that as well.

Dinner with one of the BEST sunset views on this coast. The view was a photographers dream! The food choices were many, food excellent. The full service bar has screens for sports games. The service was great too! Bring your bug spray and enjoy real Florida waterfront.

Good food. Great sunset experience. Nice drink selection. If you ask the split a plate it will cost you $3. So just use a knife.

The only good thing about the place is location + ambience. The food is subpar, and will get to you in over an hour. We went on a slow night, tables open, the food still took over an hour to get to our table and when we took a bite was dismayed to find it was cooked at bar food level. Grossly disappointed. No communication from server or manager as to why our food was so long or any reassurance offered. Skip this place.
