I LOVE the food at Little Swiss - they have the best waffles anywhere! The pancakes are stellar. The hashbrowns call to me. My friends say the Eggs Benedict is the best in town. The paintings on the wall are whimsical and fun and the wait staff are friendly and welcoming. I used to recommend the restaurant to anyone and everyone. So, why only one star? The owner and occasional chef has a severe alcohol problem! This morning, after a 45+minute wait to be seated and then another 45+minute wait for the food, the food was close to inedible. The waffle was cold(!), the hashbrowns were swimming in oil and I don't know how they managed to get a crunchy, chewy english muffin. Then, they ended up closing early - probably because the chef couldn't stand up much longer. I could excuse this if it were my 1st experience with his drinking, but this is getting to be a constant. I am really bummed because this has been our 'go to' restaurant for years. GET HELP!!!

Great little spot in Carmel for a classic breakfast. They let our pup in when it wasn’t busy, which we really appreciated!!

My husband and I love this place. It’s quaint and has amazing pancakes and waffles. The wall murals are beautiful and have humorous details if you look close. Just make sure you have cash!

It is a very charming place. We had some dessert there after lunch! Their cheese blintzes is amazingly creamy, they serve it warm with sour cream and fresh strawberries... Highly recommended.

This location is cash only but do not let that scare you away. The Swedish Pancakes are to die for and the dining area is extremely cosy. Their blintzes are made in house and are a great place to start if you have never eaten there. At lunch time opt for the ground sirloin and vegetable plate. Everytime I come back home this is where I want to eat. It's a classic Carmel location that hasn't changed since it was started.

Horrible food! Great Service.

The eggs Benedict hollandaise sauce was a pretense with mostly mayonnaise and very salty, coffee was nasty!

Great place, recommend to try their cheese crepes (it has a bit different name on a menu). When we were there the line was quite big (45 min waiting time) and people kept coming, but we ordered to go and ate at the nice bench, in the small library park near by.

Quite possibly the best French Dip I've ever had. The best ingredients. Deliciously fresh salad. Your host is also the owner; ask him for the best recommendations.

Breakfast is always so delicious. Staff is warm and friendly, curtious and ready to answer any menu questions.
I like to bring friends here who have never been. Enjoyable
