The Little Swiss Café

Found this charming Cafe yesterday while exploring Carmel-by-the Sea. Great staff, very friendly and helpful and make you feel like family. I had pancakes which were more like crepes and melt in your mouth delicious, with a side of biscuits and wonderful homemade gravy. My husband had what he called "probably the best eggs benedict ever", with buttery yummy hashbrowns!Reasonable prices and quick service. Already planning on another visit in May!

Don’t come here. The lines are long, the food is not good at all. The French Toast was salty. Didn’t like any of the food that we ordered.

Good luck getting service if you are non-white. Had an absolutely horrid experience in the first week of April, 2022. We came in with our kids and said hello, got completely brushed off by the staff. She literally made a face and walked by us. We thought we had mistaken her for a guest, but nope, she greeted everyone else (white) perfectly pleasantly while walking by us. After 2 mins she came back and said in a rude manner that she'd be with us shortly.
Possibly the worst treatment I've had in Carmel ever. We were done, we immediately walked out and went to the Village Corner instead where we enjoyed a lovely breakfast.

Liked my visit very much. Nice cosy place to enjoy a meal. Food was great, staff friendly and price reasonable.

High hopes given reviews, but . . . Coffee was a disappointment. (And so many fabulous coffee choices in Carmel). We ordered an Apple strudel and cheese blintzes. Both were too sweet, definitely not to our liking. Service attentive.

As we were walking in, a gentleman walking out said to us it was the best food in town. We did have a wonderful experience...food was fantastic, ambiance quaint, server, Madeleine, was top notch. Will be back soon.

Cheese Blintzes was really good. Nice and cute cafe.

Hostess and service were incredible. Cozy vibes and laid back atmosphere.

Great food, cute murals, and very friendly staff. Love this place; it's definitely the best breakfast in town.
