The Little Swiss Café

Of all the the breakfast options here in Carmel – by-the-sea a little Swiss café is the very best!!! Get there their ye old sweet option plate, super good with pancakes

Servers are excellent. Very welcoming and friendly.

Hostess was HORRIBLE. Made our experience never want to come back and will for sure spread the word that this place is not the to go place for non-white customers. If you dont want to take my advice. Go see for yourself. She is very unpleasant to us compared on how she treats other customers. And im not the 1st person who wrote a review about this. There are better food/restaurant options other than this. Besides, theres really nothing special or unique here anyways.

But hey, enjoy Carmel At The Sea -- its a pretty town for sure youll enjoy :)

Had a very good, tasty and healthy salad in this little bistrot, loved it. Too bad they did not serve Swiss rosti :-)

Great from top to bottom. Service & speed to quality ratio. Just go check it out, thank me and yourself later. Atmosphere and ambience is also great.

Discovered this quaint cafe in Carmel with a decor reminiscent of a small Swiss chalet. It is cozy and warm made more so by Maddie's friendly smile and outstanding service. I chose a vegetarian omlet with hash browns, which were delicious. Another highlight is the fresh butter croissants with Disckson's strawberry jaw, which is terrific.

My wife and I were in such awe of this little quaint and beautiful Switzerland Cafe! I am a 6'1, 220lbs man and I felt almost too big for the cafe, which is accurate because everything is a little bit smaller over seas I feel like.

The wait staff was extremely helpful in catering to my wife's food allergies and the food was delicious and well priced. We will be visiting again when we are back in CA!

Ate spoiled food there twice and had stomach issues. They said refrigeration broke down for several hours. Would not refund our money but coffee was free. Big deal! Won't go back again.

Food is superb and our server Madeline is just amazing! Great service, the BEST waffles you've ever tasted and reasonably priced for the area.

Always our “go to” breakfast-lunch place when in Carmel. You can never go wrong with anything you order. Very pleasant service. The eggs Benedict doesn’t disappoint- it’s to die for. Also the paper thin pancakes. Do not miss the cafe when in Carmel.
