A great way to start the day! Carmel valley coffee roasters has all the classic coffee/espresso options as well as some fun local creations. Their coffee beans are fresh and locally roasted, we actually first tried their coffee in our hotel and decided to grab another cup before heading to the beach. They also have a great breakfast selection of pastries and hot items like burritos and sandwiches. They have multiple locations in Carmel, so it convenient no matter what side of town you are on.

The staff I ordered with was very kind and friendly, they were very busy on a Sunday but they still got our drinks and food out in a reasonable time. The scones are really buttery and tasty, not too sweet. I had a beach walk which was also rich and yummy and we people watched at the window. It’s a great hang out spot and they have outdoor seating too.

My friend who is muslim can’t have chicken or other meat iteam that is not halal. So she ordered tuna sandwich to be safe. They toasted our entire order and placed tuna sandwich in a wrapper with chicken label. She ended up having few bites before realizing it was chicken. This is not fair and was very angry.
Super cute cafe but be prepared to take away because the restaurant sitting is negligible. There are few tables outside and some inside for sitting but setting is made for pickup and go.

Barista with bad attitude. Absolute grump. Terrible way to start the morning. Owner should be more involved to find staff that cares about the business. Clearly not well run / absent management. Good location. Decent coffee. Poor experience.

If you’re looking for specialty espresso base drinks (like a coffee movement or Saint Frank in SF, panther from Miami, madcap, Olympic coffee, etc.) this is not the place. Especially if you need alternative milk. Although there are alternative milk options, no one tracks or recalibrates the temperature gauge so the alternative milk is over steamed aka burnt. Minus one star for charging a whole dollar for alternative milk.
We ordered one cappuccino with whole milk and one cappuccino with oat milk. The oat milk was burnt, the cap ratio was more 50% foam, 25% steamed milk and 25% espresso. Was not delightful.
I’d recommend iced coffee or drip coffee. The service was quick, if not impersonal. But that’s inherent in a fast paced environment.

The drinks here are so good! The tasty waves latte will literally cause you to have an addiction! It’s so yummy!
The coffee is also super great, I love the different varieties that they offer!

Great place to get some coffee to go in Carmel. Seating is limited. There can be quite a line, but it's worth the wait. Good selection of different roasts (they smell delicious), hot chocolate, and teas. Additionally, they serve cakes and cookies. Free wifi.

We stumbled across the place as we were walking around in Carmel. We ordered drinks, a pecan bar and the almond raspberry bar. Our drinks were made well and tasted good. My wife liked the pecan bar and I liked the almond raspberry bar, it was delicious. The workers were also very friendly and helpful and we would definitely come back.

Location is great. They had a vegan lemon chocolate chip cookie my husband said was great. Nothing too unique but great to stop in for a coffee and people watch.

Really flavorful coffee in a really good location. You can sit to enjoy your coffee and watch as people and cars drive by on ocean Ave. The double latte was delicious and for a fair price, would definitely get coffee here again.
