Great coffee. Had the "Fog Lifter", will go back for more next time in in town. Nice location, a block or so from the beach, in the heart of town. Also, highly recommend the ham and cheese quiche. Good spot for a quick and inexpensive bite to eat.

Great Place to stop by! Love the pastries they are really delicious and they have a great cappuccino. Its walking distance to the beach. Support local businesses and be safe everyone!

This place is amazing. The coffee is great, the food is delicious (try the quiches and the almond raspberry bar!) and the staff are super nice too. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Carmel.

Ordered a cappuccino. They used their Cone Peak blend which tastes like nothing. The automatic machine pulled two shots into the cup and the barista topped it off from a huge pitcher of milk she had just frothed to an inch of its life. It was the driest cappuccino I’ve ever had, a 12 oz cup of milk foam with under extracted espresso at the bottom.

Great coffee and fast and friendly service. I just drink my coffee as the original black. no sugar no milk or cream, it’s the best way to judge a coffeehouse’s roast is in the quality of its brew. And this Roastery did not disappoint. Rich floral flavors and a smoky finish.
Although seating was relatively limited, a stroll around the beautiful manicured neighborhood wasn’t too shabby.
For eats, the choices were typical, warm morning buns, cookies bagels and so on. I enjoyed a sausage breakfast burrito with eggs. One nice thing they’ll add is it was not just warmed up but it was also toasted and a sandwich press. Super nice touch.
I’ve seen the Carmel Valley Coffee roasting brand around the bay area but now I know it’s a reliable source for coffee.
So if you’re looking for an alternative to those high visibility branded everywhere on every corner coffee sellers (stats with S) this local company will have you very happy with your cup of Joe.
