Wonderful place, friendly service, and they have the local magazines there for your enjoyment. There is seating inside and also a table to seat outside as well. There are some fun food and snack choices as well!

Coffee was ok but service was terrible. We sat down to take a needed break with our baby and before we even got our coffee someone was literally pulling us out of our chairs 30 minutes before closing because she “needed to clean” and also was very rude and unapologetic about it. If you are open until a certain time you should serve customers properly until then.

The best coffee and cake I’ve ever had. If you’re in the area, stop in and you won’t be disappointed! Sometimes they have classic Harley-Davidson motorcycles parked out front! 👀

Cappuccino is okay, not too milky but also not too much of a coffee back-taste.
Quite a lot options for pastries and breakfast, but overall tastes fine, no surprise

This little coffee shop was warm and inviting, with space to work and view the street as people walk around. I ordered their toasted marshmallow latte, and it was a really unique coffee experience. The top foam is a melted marshmallow, and the the rest of the flavors really make you feel like you’re drinking a s’more! This was a great stop while we explored Carmel and needed a little bit of a caffeine boost.

Terrible service. Bacon im Bfast sandwich was undercooked. They gave me attitude when I mentioned it and then returned it to me heated up more, but uncooked bacon again...and gave more attitude. They forgot to give us our tea, and then didn't apologize, it tell us they would remake it. They just looked embarrassed and ignored us. It was awkward. Line is always long as there are so few coffee houses in downtown Carmel. This place must survive because they are almost a monopoly.

Outstanding coffee, pastries, breakfast burritos and service. This is the only place in the morning with a line out the door. Mainly locals, but the locals know best. The line moves fast and the people are friendly.

Cute shop in a sea of many others, but with its own style. Baristas were friendly, quick, and helpful. The pastry selection was excellent as well. But the big question: how was the coffee? Absolutely great. I got one of each of their specialty espresso drinks, which were both great. The espresso flavor still came through the admittedly sweet and delicious concoctions, albeit playing a supporting role. Shots were well pulled with no sourness detected, and the right amount of bittersweet notes. This will be my regular shop every time I visit CbtS.
