Dutch Bros Coffee

The kid asked if we could try Dutch Bros. I asked how do you even know about it? I mean it's not in Seattle and the only regional outlets are in far away locales in the outskirts like Renton or Everett or Federal Way. So apparently it's promoted on TikTok and so away we went.

First, you should know that 90% of DB's menu consists of sugar laden calorie bombs, like liquid desserts. Imagine a menu of all kinds of different Frappuccinos. Each drink is something like 800 calories. Coffee takes a back seat here. Actually it takes the 3rd row seat. This is 1 star deducted.

We went to the Renton location. Getting into it was not easy as the drive thru entrance is not easy to find. We drove in past the Popeye's chicken, which *seemed* like the way to go, only to find we had to go back onto Rainier Ave S, which was completely gridlocked btw so this took about 15 minutes, and into the Wal Mart parking lot from where we could enter the DB drive thru line. I mean signage on Rainier Ave or on SW 7th would've made a world of difference here. This is a 2 star deduction.

The rest was unremarkable, except that the drive thru line moved very quickly and that the service was outstanding, which is the entire reason for all the remaining stars that are given.

Aside from the delicious coffee, the staff are always kind and efficient. I love going through the drive thru with my dog because it makes everyone happier and he's happy because he gets free treats :D

As a note, I do usually go in the afternoon or evenings. I went once in the morning and the line was very long, so be prepared for a wait if you go at peak times. The staff was great that time too, the wait was simply because of how many customers were there.

Look. You don’t come here for great tasting beverages. You come for the impeccable service. It’s unmatched. Worth the money to start your day off right. Better to give your money to a franchise that hires awesome employees than some corporate logo siren. Love this place! Try to support whenever I’m in the neighborhood.

I love Dutch bros! ❤️ this location is always super busy since there isn't any close ones near by but the staff still do their very best to keep the line moving at a reasonable speed even if you're 15 cars back. I don't mind waiting and the drinks always taste great! The baristas are super friendly too! Thank you!

I love Dutch Bros, and I'm so happy this one is so close to where I live. They usually have long lines whenever I'm there, but it's usually worth the wait. Everyone is super friendly and the drinks I've had were great. The Paris iced tea is wonderful (they use the Harney & Sons Paris tea, so you can buy it and make it yourself, too!), and I love flavored breves, too. :)

I am a type 1 diabetic that ordered a drink at Dutch bros today and ask specifically for a sugar free drink so nothing would happen to me and this is the second time at this location that something like this has happened. Where I could have been brought to the emergency room and been under critics constitution. I am just u please with management not training their employees to understand that reading a person order is very important and their customers are putting trust into their employees to understand the circumstance of how serious making a mistake on my order could cause major side effects on me and other who are diabetic and come to get a coffee I do not recommend going here if that is the case for you as well. Will not be returning back to Dutch bros will be finding a different coffee shop who are more aware and better trained to take every direction important when making a drink!!

The lemonades are my absolute favorite. The strawberry lavender flavor is phenomenal, definitely should be a permanent item. Can't go wrong with trying a new flavor every day, so many combinations.

The Snickerdoodle coffee is good too!

I am a big fan of Dutch bros, but I’m pretty sure they forgot the liquid in my drink today… mostly icey (Cold Brew). All things considered, 5 stars and first time there ever has ever been a “concern” in over 30 orders.

I may come by every day now due to the staff being soo awesome. They seem genuine, and the drinks are delicious. I just moved from the east coast so I was excited to try Dutch Bros for the first time and they left a great impression..
