From the outside, Candor Coffee looks muted and old-fashion, reminding me of 90's drive-ins that I have only seen in movies. Once inside, it's modern and lively, with a creamy tone that feels like a smooth cappuccino.
My latte was served in a cute earth tone huskee cup that matches perfectly the relaxing vibe of the shop. Good taste too. I took a seat at a window-side high bar and looked out. Through the window walls, the strip mall parking lot looked rather ugly, but what I saw seemed to be in a different, parallel world. The world on this side of the window where I was sipping my coffee, it was nice and cozy.
I also just like the name. We can all use a bit more candor.

Beautiful cafe, there are regular cafe and then there are Cafe's like Candor. Beautifully decorated, everything from sitting arrangement to the wall decor, all are part of the theme.
The Cappuccino had a good art and tasted good. It's light to medium coffee strength.
The Peppermint Mocha was good as it was not super sweet. Would have liked more coffee strength.
Their breakfast sandwiches and Bagels were good!

The Baristas at this coffeshop were super helpful! It was my friend and I'm first timing going. They were very helpful with answering questions! And when I made my food allergy aware, they made sure they didn't have it come into contact with my order. They were also very sweet as well! The shop is also super cute and they have local items they sell such as jewelry and coffee related items

Cannot recommend this place enough! Heard of this place by word of mouth and fell in love my first time there! Their matcha was great and so was their calming refreshing atmosphere. People came to study, work, chat with friends, and enjoy the great products. Truly a gem find!

Love this place!! Pretty interior and spacious. The barista girl was so welcoming and sweet!! Heated Nutella brioche was great and coffee delicious too. Love to visit again. :D

Found Candor through Yelp! Not too many coffee shops around the Renton area, so Candor seemed like an easy choice!
Lots of parking in the lot, so no issues.
There was a small line, but moved quickly. For a Monday morning, it was packed! Literally no seating inside. No problem though, since they have quite a few picnic benches outside so no issues there!
Staff was friendly. Angie and Victoria were holding it down for the busy Monday morning rush! Unfortunately, no cold brew available. I just got an americano with vanilla sweetener (I believe), don't quite remember since I don't drink too much coffee haha.
Wifi was available, so I was able to work a bit before I met up with my friend.
Safe and awesome spot to grab a coffee and work/catch up with friends!

Amazing coffee, I bought kombucha in bottles there (delicious) unfortunately one of the glass bottle that I brought home and placed on kitchen counter exploded while my sister was holding my infant baby, shielding him from all of the peaces of glass that flew through out my whole kitchen, walls, ceiling and living room. Very dangerous and not acceptable! ( the kombucha did not get shaken from the time I bought to the time it got into my car and than my home). We just heard a loud explosion and heard all of the glass hitting everything, it took us a good amount of time to clean all of it. I hope someone will review this and take appropriate actions.
Otherwise the food and coffee are delicious.

A perfect place to unwind after work. Or do your paper. Have a cup of joe with your friends on a spacious outdoor patio. I love this place and the staff. Just walking in, you can feel a positive aura. Current menu listed.

It’s a vibe! The Rose matcha was SO GOOD!
I usually don’t like matcha drinks because it’s bitter to me but the rose syrup is so perfect! The interior was beautiful, love the environment

I am so excited to find a quality coffee shop in this area. This place feels like a Seattle coffee shop but it’s in Renton/ Kent. I paid $6.60 for a 12 ounce hazelnut oat milk latte - a bit on the high side for Seattle area prices. The coffee is very good and the baristas are nice. I had to take away one star for the music. They are playing loud country music. So be prepared for that and maybe just take your coffee to go.
