Murphy's Coffee & Bagel House

What a treat! I stopped today 4/11/22 at 2:30pm for a dip into paradise. The staff was real friendly and attentive to detail when it came down to crafting the bagel. A lovely view of the pond greets you as you step outside and enjoy the mountaintop backdrop. My only qualm was that I wasn't able to try all of the different flavors they had in bagels, cream cheese and condiments. I shall be back and can't wait to try some more goodies 😋

Great spot for a quick stop or to stay awhile and take your time. The service was quick and friendly. Food and coffee -- *chef's kiss* -- amazing. Nice atmosphere inside and a great outdoor seating area with lots of visual interest. Glad I know it's here now!

Every time I'm in town, I stop here to grab a bagel! Their breakfast bagels are delicious and freshly made. The egg is just that -- an ACTUAL egg! Not the frozen egg patties you usually see on breakfast sandwiches. This place is a must stop!

I loved visiting this place. The coffee was just right, the bagel was delicious and made fresh, and the atmosphere was clean and beautifully designed. I highly recommend it.

Love the food, make no mistake abt that. Great atmosphere and clean facilities. Beautiful view over the lake and outdoor seating area.
Not a fan of the drive thru. Takes way too long to be served and once you're in line, you pretty much don't have an option to leave, you're stuck. Saw multiple vehicles leave behind me, I was 4th in line.

Perfect bagel and excellent large coffee for $5.25. They opened in February...go on over and support a local restaurant!

We found this coffee shop while antiquing in the area and are so glad we did! The staff were super friendly and the lattes and bagel sandwiches were delish. We even ordered a Murphy’s dozen to take home. The inside and open and clean and there is outdoor patio seating overlooking a lake. Do yourself a favor and stop by!

We were happy to find this place on our way to Charlottesville. Great personalities behind the counter. Super nice facility. Excellent bagels. Good coffee though I should have requested a shot of expresso in mine.

Giving this place 3 stars...First time visiting I ordered only a BLT with Mayo on a everything bagel paid 7.65 for just the bagel no drink. Definitely feel it's overpriced. But hey we are in inflation period so I paid for the bagel. The bagel it self has a familar taste, like the ones I get from sams or carters, so I dont think they make them in house.I could tell the bagel was just slapped together not much effort put into it based on the appearance, and how mayo was everywhere, However bagel was good and had a nice flavor and decent customer service.
