Delicious items on the menu! A lot of customizable options as well and affordable. It's a cute, modern place where you can hang out and enjoy the view outside. Plenty of parking.

There is honestly more you could ask for from a location. Bagels are fresh and tasty, even their gluten-free option!

The chicken salad and breakfast sandwiches are not to be missed. If there is a smear flavor you enjoy... they must likely have it available. The variety of toppings for your sandwiches are just as plentiful.

The selection of coffees rivals Starbucks at a fraction of the price.

The service is TOP-NOTCH. They are well staffed with friendly, polite, and knowledgeable young people.

Cleanliness is a priority, and it shows.

This shop would be 10 times more busy if it were closer to Charlottesville, but we have to admit it's worth the drive.

The high ceilings and bright paint make the space feel much larger inside than it looks outside.

If you need a spot to join someone for a business meeting or just to grab lunch with friends, this is a great spot.

The atmosphere was very clean and trendy. It was my first visit, and the employee was very helpful and nice. I just got and iced latte and lemon-poppy seed bread to go, but they were both very good. The true test is a hot drink and one of their namesake bagels. Needless to say, I will be back and look forward to it.

I drive by here on occasion, but this was the first time I stopped in. It was later in the morning, so the case was empty, I'll have to try something next time.

I got a traditional cappuccino. I explained what I wanted as it wasn't on the menu, and they did a PERFECT job on it. The coffee was EXCELLENT and it was exactly the kind I like; nice, round, and nutty.

As I paused by the register for a few seconds to add a tip, I was immediately asked if I needed anything by a guy in the back prepping. I can not fault the service. I'm certainly going to have to stop in again.

Great coffee shop, plenty of parking, excellent coffee and bagels, nothing shy of a New York bagel, I make sure to stop by every time I'm in the area, it's a must stop for me to grab a bite to eat.

Excellent service, great products, very nice place, staff is superb, if you're on a hurry, they have a drive-through (thru) you'll get the same service and same great tasting products, I'd rate seven stars of there were seven tio give, but why not? I am rating them 7 stars anyway!

Had the lentil veggie patty. Wi-Fi is super awesome. Views exceed Starbucks by far. And the menu is better than it looks. And there is very pretty potty decor in the ladies room.
They must have sweeteners that they add without telling you that effects the flora of the gut, it is a little late but i can tell.

We are Canadians and our daughter, her husband and grandchildren live in Charlottesville. We travel to Charlottesville 4-6 times per year. When we were leaving this morning we told our daughter we would make the customary stop at Starbucks on the way back north. She encouraged us to try Murphy's informing us it was WAY better. So we did. She was right! My wife and I loved Murphy's. The bagel sandwiches were out of this world and the coffee was hot and amazing! Murphy's will be our new "Go To" place on our way out of town as we go back to the land of Maple Syrup!

Great bagels, many choices. Very convenient stop for us when we drove home from our daughter's house. Coffee was hot, but no decaf was brewed.

February 2021: Updating my review for Murphy's as I had a Turkey Club on an everything bagel for lunch today. My experience was completely different as I went during lunch on a weekday rather than a Saturday morning. The drive thru line was quick, it was approximately 5 minutes from the time I placed my order until I was on my way. The sandwich was filling--turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo. The bagel was warm and chewy and the perfect selection for a sandwich.

First time visiting the new coffee and bagel shop in Ruckersville. It's only been open a week and we dared to try it on a Saturday morning. Upon arrival, the line was short; but within 10 minutes, the place was packed. We ordered 3 sandwiches and 2 bagels to go. After 25 minutes, our order was ready. However, after checking the bag, 1 of the sandwiches was incorrect. The staff apologized and quickly made a new sandwich. I didn't check the new sandwich and sadly it was still incorrect when we got to our destination. So we improvised and switched bagel tops and bottoms around so that there was one without cheese. Even though the sandwiches were a little mixed up, the food was good. The staff was extremely friendly and the shop is beautiful. I'll be back after the newness wears off and they hopefully hit their stride.

Favorite bagel place. Their French Toast Bagel is addictive; careful with that. This is the best spot to charge batteries before a hike.
