Daily Grind C-Ville

Great spot for ice cream, snacks and coffee and even some coffee accessories. Awesome little local stop for a quick snack while on Route 29.

Easily the best coffee/pastry shop between charlottesville and Richmond. The owners care about their drinks and pastries. The Chai latte is out of this world, add maple spice and its like autumn in a cup. I have literally never had a bad drink there. I will happily drive 45 minutes from my house for the Daily Grind. The atmosphere is perfect, it's always clean and cozy. I was able to complete my school work without all the noise you'd get at Starbucks. I love this place. It's definitely a hidden gem.

Quaint and bistro styled interior with a family Atmosphere. Easily accessible. Clean restrooms. Affordable coffee with great flavor. My favorite thing is the "for here" mugs they serve your beverage in if you don't get coffee to go. They also sell pastries and have an ice cream bar. Will definitely visit again.

Great ice cream, appropriate "kid size" scoops. We enjoy coming her for our ice cream fix.

I don't know how long I've been coming here, but it's been a good while, and I have had nothing but perfect experiences every time I've come in. This is the only coffee shop in Charlottesville that I can get random flavors in my coffee and trust that it'll be delicious no matter what! The owners are friendly, helpful, caring, and genuinely engaging. I could go on for a good while about how amazing they are, but it would be best if you went in for yourself to experience the loving environment they provide.

I used to go here when it was dips and sips, and it was amazing! I was a little afraid to try it when it became another name, but I'm glad I did. I love the chai smoothie. I don't live close anymore, but can't wait when I come back to visit to stop here again!

A great locally owned coffee & ice cream shop. This is a trillion times better than the competition (starbucks). If you want exceptional coffee with great flavor & aroma look no further, this is the place for you. They can even sell you their beans and they will even grind them up for you. Again, it's way better than the competition. If you aren't going to Daily Grind, you aren't getting truly great coffee.

Great local coffee and ice cream shop! Family owned, and the atmosphere is friendly and warm. I love to bring my karate students and their families here after graduations. Great hot chocolate this time of year too!
