Fantastic family-owned coffee chop! Top quality coffee and even better customer service. Owner and family are also very community-focused (they have a free drink token system allowing you to buy/donate a token, thereby prepaying a drink for first responders when they come in).

Highly recommend the cold brew - the best I’ve drank! Coconut-flavored latte is also amazing. Don’t miss this great spot in C-ville!

There was some debate here as to whether to go 5 stars. While the coffee was fantastic (I got the frozen mocha, my friend got the dirty chai) it was just slightly too costly to be able to reflectively give 5 stars. It's a nice place though, and deserves much more business than it gets, decidedly better than other cville staples like Grit, Milli or Mudhouse.

Great place, the staff is always friendly and the coffee and ice cream is wonderful. I have been here many of times but today when I went they had a sign out front that said "If your name is Chris you get a free ice cream cone" What?
That is awsome!

We enjoy our visit here every weekend. The staff is always very welcoming an happy to see us. The customer service is great. Its a very nice place for familys and friends. The ice cream is hand dipped and always taste fresh as well as the smoothies! Its very clean an presentable every time we go.

Even though it must have been strange for strangers to enter the store, thanks to the family here who treated us kindly, we able to leave the cafe after a pleasant tour.
Of course coffee was good! ^^~

Icecream and coffee... I mean what could go wrong? Friendly little joint

This place is the best icecream in Charlottesville no questions asked!! My family and I go there every Sunday evening and when we walk in they know us and we don't even have to order anymore because they remember what we want. They are very personable and friendly! We have 2 small kids and they are very sweet to them as well. Keep up the good work!!

Daily Grind is the best place in town to get coffee and icecream and they have dairy-free alternatives. Always fast, accurate service, and always friendly. They also participate in community events and offer food/drinks from other local businesses. Im glad they are local to me and keep us safe by enforcing a mask policy. I eat/drink here at least twice a week

This place is great. The owner and his staff are very nice. Michael Gorectke’s review is a complete lie. Number one, there is no real medical exemption for a mask. And second, this owner cares about the lives of his customers. I come there often. I highly recommend this place.

Awful service by the owner! No sale! We planned to buy drinks and ice cream. The owner stopped the clerk before she checked us out. I explained to the owner that my family has a legal medical exemption to the mask mandate. He refused to serve us; he wouldn't offer to bring food out or anything. We try to patronize small, locally-owned businesses whenever possible to help them, so his obstinate, unaccommodating response caught us off guard. Fortunately, we found what we needed from a friendly merchant just a minute or two down the road. Masks don't pay the bills and customers don't appreciate being called liars.
