Daily Grind C-Ville

The owner and staff are eager to please, courteous and quick. I prefer their coffee to Starbucks because it's less bitter. They offer lots of coffee, tea and non-caffeinated drinks, several flavors of ice cream (including a few seasonal ones) and a variety of cones (cake, waffle, Oreo, candy-studded, and pretzel). The slight saltiness of the pretzel cone complements the ice cream perfectly. Their baked goods come from Albemarle Baking Company and are far better than coffee shop chains' pastries. The nectarine brioche was heavenly!

Small local shop, decent selection of Ice-Cream with a small selection of toppings. Ice Cream was Baskin Robbins level but cheaper. Coffee was also decently priced for the quality. Overall decent place for ice cream and coffee.

We love their affogato! They have parking right outside their shop.

We love the Daily Grind. The name of the day is so fun and they have great ice cream! Friendly staff, cost is fair, and it's close to home.

Love Love Love the coffee here, and the ice cream is tasty also :) Family run and owned, high quality options and much cheaper than S***b**ks to boot.

Wonderful ice cream and peppermint coffee. Saw a great artist Pat Temples displaying her Iceland photographs. Loved the Iceland ponies and peonies especially.

10/10 customer service and 10/10 coffee. I'd get a chai latte from here over anywhere else anyday

Amazing customer service. They know our orders by heart and actually care about each individual customer. I recommend these guys to everyone who drinks coffee.
