Murphy's Coffee & Bagel House

Friendly staff, super clean, awesome bagel and amazing environment (high quality tables and building materials, bright, open and pretty)! Plenty of space indoor, outdoor on the covered patio and outdoor open patio. Definitely worth your time and money! We got a drip coffee and a lox bagel. Both were tasty. I can’t speak highly enough about the staff! They were top notch. Well done!

Nice spot by the lake. Overall the sandwich was good but the bagel was not soft. Great meat and vegan bagel sandwiches to choose from or you can build your own. Hot mocha was awesome.

Friendly staff. Extremely clean dining room, clean restrooms, and clean outdoor seating. Love the simple design of the store. And definitely love outdoors overlooking the pond. There is a drive-thru if you don't feel like getting out of your car. Bagels are excellent. I love the options for sandwiches or just an open face bagel. The toasted bagels are the perfect blend of crunch and soft. Happy they have non-dairy options for their coffee and various flavorings. The latte is so good. Coffee isn't bitter or burnt. Just the right taste. I visited every day I was in town. Highly recommend!

Very nice location. Murphy's is located on a lake with indoor and outdoor seating. The building is new and well maintained. There's also a drive up window. The bagel sandwich was good but not great. They seem to close at 2 pm most days. I haven't tried their coffee yet.

Nice and spacious place. I normally wouldn't say this but their internet was like an oasis in the desert. You don't get good cellular service around there so this was really needed. Their coffee was good and the outside seating area with a pond view was amazing.

A+ for ambiance and atmosphere. There's three areas to dine: inside, outside on the deck with sun exposure, and outside enclosed in a tent-like structure. Both outside areas have a great overview of a pond.

The bathrooms are clean and air conditioned. Service is very friendly.

I had the avocado bagel and a small black coffee. My girlfriend had a chai tea and a bagel/cream cheese. The food was good, but underseasoned; the avocado bagel needed salt and the chai tea was mildly sweet, which was nice, but needed more spice.

Overall a good experience and would eat here again.

Delicious coffee and quality food. Staff is always lovely. They have a very nice cafe by a pond + a drive-thru window. Definitely recommend this spot!

A beautiful place to have some great coffee, tea, sandwiches, etc. The personnel are friendly & helpful. The food is delicious & the drinks are yummy.

loveeee this place so much! Love the view and seats inside. Muffin and the brownies were amazing! Definitely will visit again:) Servers were very nice and sweet!

Best coffee place near Charlottesville! I tried multiple coffee places in Charlottesville but I didn't like any of them. Coffee was so tasty and smooth. It was really cheap price compared to other places. The bagel sandwiche was little bit pricey, but it was so good! Bagel itself was very tasty and chewy! I would like to come back here more often!!!
