Some of the best coffee I’ve had in Utah. A little expensive but definitely worth trying if you are a coffee lover.

The coffee here is impeccable and the guy who runs the place really knows his stuff. This is not the place to go for flavored drinks with coffee in them like starbucks or beans and brews. The menu has about half a dozen coffee items and there are no flavorings. Just great flavorful coffee that is meticulously brewed. Come here if you want the best coffee experience in the valley!

Look, the coffee was good. Obviously a lot of care put into selecting beans and the brewing process. But the owner was so pretentious and condescending that my husband and I felt uncomfortable just being in there. My husband doesn't drink coffee, so he tried to order a boba. They didn't have any. So he tried to order a chai. The owner says, "we don't have any. Nobody comes here for the chai." Why put things on the menu if you're not going to serve them?

Didn’t have cold brew, or iced coffee, and refused to make me an espresso or americano over ice. Also only open starting at 10am, kinda late for a coffee shop.

One of the rudest, most condescending experiences I've had at a coffee shop. Advised me I was "wasting his product" by ordering a cappuccino. Suggested I was being disrespectful for requesting the order to-go (i had to get to a meeting). Insulted me trying to make basic conversation - "where are your beans from?" "how does siphon coffee work?" etc.
An extra star as the coffee was truly delicious. He clearly DOES know his craft and is excellent at it. I will never return however as someone who enjoys their craft this much should WANT to teach and educate instead of condescend and ridicule.

I had the best latte I have ever had by far. The espresso was pulled absolutely perfect, not a hint of a burned or sour taste, and he steamed the almond milk perfect as well (which can be really hard with alternative milks)
The owner comes off just a bit rude and dismissive. I usually like just a hint of sugar, but when I asked the owner it was a short and very dismissive reply-and made me feel very awkward or rude for having asked. They don’t carry sugar, which is completely ok! My boyfriend also felt uncomfortable with some other ways he talked to us. I think he can just come off as mocking or rude, but I don’t think he means to be! just know that he is more an expert in his coffee and that that will be what you’re coming for!
But again, even without the sugar, it seriously didn’t need it and it made me glad I had it without. He seriously knows what he is doing, I listened in on him talking about specifics of brewing a coffee with a man there. He is very intelligent, and his words came through with the absolute perfect results I got in my latte. :)
I feel after having it, that I could even have just a straight doppio which is hard to find in Utah without it tasting burnt.

I loved this place, talking with John was very entertaining, and of course the coffe was amazing. It's one of those secret gems that give flavor to a city.
John is very passionate and this really makes a difference. The ambiance is great, very relaxing, the only issue is the size of the place.
I'll definitely be back to try more of the dessert too.

Rude service , don’t go there unless you know the owners only way to have coffee. Expensive as well.

If you want amazing espresso, you found the right place. One of the best tasting (if not the best) americanos I've had.
Though my experience also came with being talked at dismissively, interrupted after just beginning to say something, all the way to being completely ignored when paying (aside pushing forward the card reader). When leaving, my "thank you, I appreciate it" and tip were not even reciprocated with a glance, eye contact, or a "you're welcome".
Those are the objective events. My interpretation leaves me labeling the interaction as condescending, pretentious, privileged, and without manners or social etiquette.
Again, amazing tasting coffee.

If you want a quick cup of coffee, you’ll be satisfied but missing out on the real value. This place is a fully immersive coffee experience. Your palate will be blown and you will leave with a desire to learn more about coffee.
