Nice little cafe tucked away in the middle of SLC. Glad we stumbled into it. You can tell right when you walk in that's it's going to be a good experience. The drinks were amazing 👌I recommend everything.

The barista is knowledgeable, interested, and personable. The coffee itself is excellent. I'm ashamed to admit that I don't know coffee very intimately, so maybe excellent is an understatement.
I like it here, it's chill.

Wonderful coffee. You can tell there is a great amount of attention paid to the details of each cup of coffee. The owner is very knowledgeable and does all his own roasting from responsibility sourced beans. The espresso was smooth and the chai latte warmed the soul.

Cappuccino was fantastic. Best I’ve had in SLC. They were out of lychee but my husband ordered the grapefruit juice tea and he said it was really good. The milk tea has a nice flavor, not too milky. We really enjoyed it, we will make this a regular stop when we come to the SLC.

Mine and my husbands favorite coffee shop. It's owned by a man and his wife and they are the only ones who will make your drink. Which in my opinion is awesome. Everything is consistent and their coffee and bubble tea is to die for! I've been to many different local coffee shops and no one compares! We love the iced mocha's and their honeydew bubble tea with coconut jelly or their new strawberry bubble tea with coconut jellies. It's a small little shop across from the Salt Lake Library. (Very easy to miss)

Probably the best espresso I’ve ever had, and I have a machine at my house! The equipment is top notch, and the owner knows his coffee. Definitely returning when I come back to SLC!

It wasn't bad. Just average espresso. However, I have never paid so much for such a small cup. I ordered a small and was shocked that it was over $6. When it was handed to me, the guy was explaining their coffee and I literally though that he was giving me a free sample to try. Granted it would have been a large sample, but it's the smallest small I have ever seen. I was motivated to write a review when I then tasted the just average espresso. I can get the same quality, and more of it elsewhere for $3.50.

If you are looking for the best cup of coffee in Slat Lake City, Utah, the SW or the US then look no further. John is a master at his craft and will not disappoint you. I've been going to Cafe D'Bolla for the last 10 years while visiting SLC. Getting coffee with John has become a tradition of mine that I hope continues for many years to come. I've been to the other many coffee shops in town and none compare in quality. If you want to talk shop with John about coffee then he will gladly share his knowledge and passion until it rubs off on you.
Do not be fooled. If the experience you're looking for is akin to that of Starbucks or any grab and go coffee shop then you will not find it here.
