Probably the best coffee I’ve ever had. The siphon coffee is expensive but truly an experience. John was friendly and I learned a ton talking to him during my visit. The espresso was also out of this world. I didn’t know it could be so flavorful and balanced. I love forward to coming back whenever I’m in Salt Lake.

If you want to learn more about coffee. This is the place to go. Two friends recommended it and they were right. Even with my bad set up, the beans I bought here were awesome. Planning on going back to try the siphon coffee on the weekend

This place is a gem. John makes a mean bubble tea and is a great host.

If you love coffee, you have to go here. One of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. The owner is so knowledgable and friendly. You will learn a lot and love this place.

Hands down the best coffee I have ever had. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, if a bit eccentric.

If you go for his phenomenal siphon brewed coffee expect to spend about an hour savoring it to get the most for your money.

His espresso drinks are excellent as well, however don't expect to get any fancy flavoring, the coffee is flavorful enough on its own.

I don’t think you can experience espresso like this elsewhere in North America. The intensity and layers of flavor are far higher than anywhere else I’ve been! Recommended to at least try the espresso once here if you’re nearby

I was so lucky to stumble upon this place - the most amazing local spot! I spoke with the owner at length, who was roasting a fresh batch of beans on-site while we chatted.

After speaking with him, I did a little research and my understanding is that this shop is the preference of many well-educated coffee personalities in the local area, as well as nationally! Truly a hidden gem in the heart of downtown SLC.

If you can, afford yourself an hour to sit and experience an amazing syphon coffee. If you can’t, enjoy an amazing cappuccino or espresso - I consider myself well-versed with coffee, and I can say with all honesty that this was one of the finest caps I’ve had.

Five stars, because I can’t give six. I only wish I lived in SLC so I could come here every day.
