Every time I am in town this is my go-to for coffee. Their flavors are delicious. The service is fast even when they are busy. The crew that works there is friendly. I have only gotten their coffee drinks but they also have some tea and other drink selections as well.

I don’t have much to complain about, I’ve tried many of the coffees, which are good, food is good and they have great customer service! One thing that needs to be mentioned though is the last two times I’ve gotten the kolaches (they are sooo good) they weren’t warmed up completely so the bread was hot and the sausage was an icicle. Straight up crunched ice. I had to go home and warm them up. I’ll be back and probably still order these items but I beg that y’all let them warm a little longer!!!

It's a coffee bar! It's a corporate coffee bar! It's a corporate coffee bar headquartered in Portland!
Okay, I'm ribbing these guys a little bit. My eyebrows raised a bit when I heard Black Rock was coming to Clear Lake. The only indie coffee place I've ever dealt with in Clear Lake is Art Of Coffee, which has two locations out there.
The biggest thing I noticed was the decor - white tile with no art on the walls. The seating area has no plants or other visual features. The furniture is high grade and sturdy, though. Visually, this Black Rock is a bit...sterile looking (other locations may be different).
The coffee tastes similar to that of Starbucks, just not as "burned". Service at the counter is friendly, always nice.
There's not much seating indoors at this point, not sure if they plan on adding more - that will matter on rainy or cooler days.
Make no mistake, though - these guys will be around a while. It's decent. And it's early - I may like more about BR on future visits. But for now, 3 stars is a fair rating to me - good, but not outstanding.

Let me start by saying amazing customer service, I had downloaded the app and accidentally placed an order in Arizona and they said they would give me my order for free WOW y’all won me over for life. Also while I was waiting I got asked by many people if I have been helped, the friendliest people ever. The atmosphere inside has such chill vibes and let me tell you the coffee is AMAZING! Priced better and tastes better than Starbucks. I will be going here from now on for my daily coffee fix.

First we went through the drive and order with my wife free reward it came out to about. $27.an change, after two sips I needed to have more. We ask about if we could buy by the bag and the young man had us move to parking lot.I went straight to counter and wait unitil one of the 6- personnel acknowledged us 5-10 it was a full house all sitting, around. after that we were done.
PS the cookies are great.

Better than Starbucks for sure. Better coffee and cheaper too. We went on the opening where they had free drinks, but prices on menu were still cheaper. Their workers had us moving fast and were all so sweet.
You will not be disappointed in the mint chip chiller or the iced blackout. I will definitely return for more. 😍
