Their coffees and snacks are always so good and I've never met someone there that isn't extremely kind and helpful!
Its my favorite place to get coffee for a good price. The coffee is never too sweet, and easy to make sweet if you prefer it that way! The food always tastes fresh and has good flavors, doesn't taste mass produced or factory made.

Has quickly become my favorite coffee spot. A great variety of traditional and modern coffee and tea. They don't have some of the crazy flavors you get other places, but the stuff they have still sets them apart. I suggest trying a hibiscus tea, its best if you do it half and half with black tea. The food is great for a quick breakfast, too. Even more, the staff make every visit a great experience.

They always do an excellent job hiring people for their coffee bars. The young people are always so peppy and nice and professional but still themselves which I love. My favorite drinks NEVER fail me no matter what Black Rock I go to. It's literally the only coffee chain I support. I just wish they had more locations so I can Always get good coffee no matter where I go.

It's a nice enough place to get a coffee and hang out, but unfortunately for me my visit was pretty dismal. I understand and appreciate how short staffed and busy folks are, but over 30 mins waiting inside for a coffee definitely isn't ideal to say the least. I watched as people came in ordered and left as my coffee still was not made or my name called out. I decided to be patient and sit it out, My order was an americano so not too much muscle or time to make.
After approximately 30 mins wait I went to inform the staff I still had no coffee and shared the info that dozens of people had come and gone while I received nothing. Staff didn't really seem to care much, if I worked there I would of made it up, but oh well that's why we have the 1 star situations.

My husband is very picky about his coffee and since we have started getting our coffees on Wednesday and Saturday morning with Maldini and her girls working we have had the most outstanding service . No other coffee shop can outshine this one in Bend .. so THANK YOU FOR BEING 5 STARS ..Pam and Fred Clark

Great service. I love the interior of this location, spacious and modern. I have stopped in to get work done at this location a few times, about half the time the music seems to be blasting. I’m all for loud music but a coffee shop doesn’t seem like the right space. It makes holding a conversation or getting in a work flow difficult (even with my noise canceling headphones). Besides that, definitely one of the best BR locations.

It was my first time in Black Rock Coffee yesterday. The only reason is that it's just not convenient from where I live. I happen to be at that end of town and was meeting a friend for coffee. Nice place, well made drinks, and good atmosphere. It's still not going to be a regular stop for me but if I'm in that end of town I'll stop again.

This place is large enough to accommodate most small meetings, BUT THE MUSIC IS SO LOUD IT DRIVES AWAY BUSINESS. Which seems OK with this very corporate coffee warehouse. Was told I could not be served in the porcelain 'here' mug, only in the 'to go' paper cup b/c my espresso was too small? Wierd. At least that's what I think she said, was really hard to hear her...

I love the coffee from Black Rock and will buy bags of beans to grind myself. I will drive our of my way and choose Black Rock over Starbucks any day. They don't have a wide variety of food items, but it's the coffee I love.

Been here 4 visits...3 were 'meh' and one was poor...

* No blinds...seriously...it makes almost 2/3 of their tables horrible to sit at...mornings and afternoons...

* 3 of my visits, my coffee was ready and sitting on the counter while the baristas talked to each other and their friends/customers. It's one thing to not break a conversation with a customer, but a coffee sitting there should be an indicator that something's up. Not cool...

* Their toaster pastries are excellent...can't say enough about them.

* Don't plan on holding a conversation inside...between a complete lack of sound treatment on the ceilings and walls and the heavy bass of their music, this is more like a night club than a...wait a second...they may just be taking the "bar" in their name more directly than I thought...because that's exactly what this feels like.

* Good coffee...enjoyed each one I ordered.

Plenty of other spots in town, so I won't be back here unless I'm meeting someone or driving past...
