I rarely give 5 stars. The staff is attentive and very quick which keeps the drive thru line down, very friendly, hasnt gotten my order wrong in the 20+ times I've visted. The coffee is tasty too. My only small concern was the staff didnt know too much about gluten, but after contacting corporate I was assured their syrups are gluten free.

First experience at Blackrock Coffee. The speaker on the drive through wasn’t turned on and a recording came on immediately to notify us to pull up to the window. I ordered the hot Mexican mocha, husband had a breve and my toddler had a strawberry steamer. All were delicious. I usually order half sweet in my coffee but decided to order regular since I’ve never been here. It was perfect. We ordered a coffee cake muffin as well and it was, meh. It either wasn’t fresh or they need a new supplier. The young man at the window provided great service and had high spirits.

Black Rock undoubtedly serves excellent coffee and delicious pastries. I had a Mexican mocha, a cronut (croissant-like doughnut), & a ham & cheese croissant. All were great!

I'm the biggest advocate of all black rocks coffee bars no matter where we have lived. We have always gone out of our way to find a black rock on our route to get the good coffee. However since losing some of their main staff, their rockstar awesome customer service isn't as good as it used to be. Drinks are liquidity when they're supposed to be frozen and sometimes I'm thinking they're using a whole bottle of caramel in my cup way too sticky when cup is handed over.. The staff do try, but most times the speaker Box is not even on, therefore it's quite the wait in the line which is OK for good coffee but it hasn't been so the lat 6 months...

Hello! I have been coming here for almost two years and up until 6ish months ago it was reallly good. Just as of today 03/05/22 a friend and I came through. We texted at friend at 4:30pm saying we just got in line and should be over soon, it was backed up only until the end of their DT line.
We left the line at 5:25.
There were two employees that we could see and two additional guests in their lobby that we could see. The window girl never acknowledged the wait, an apology, did not read back our order, and did not offer us a receipt. There was no offered explanation to the LONG wait. I do understand that in COVID times most places are understaffed and rushes can be tough. But with less then 10 cars in their line and a hour long wait seems more then excessive. All three of our large drinks were wrong and the banana bread we ordered was smaller then the normal slices and rock hard.
I leave the two stars not just for this one experience which in itself could be a bad day. I have come here so many times and ordered the exact same thing and it tastes significantly different each time. Working in the service industry is hard sometimes. I get it. But after months of constantly messing up my orders, including not using dairy substitutes that I request and pay for, I am more then bit over it. This location has been fantastic and is great in closeness to my job which has been the reason I keep returning but at this point it seems they are blatantly not putting in effort.
I have had some amazing service at this location. Some have been recent but most are from old employees. It shouldn’t have to be a 50/50 on having an accurate order, and more of a once in a while thing but it’s not.
Normally speed has not been an issue but accuracy is. I do hope that maybe something was going on and it wasn’t the employees fault for the hour long wait. I would like to be contacted if there is an explanation. I’m trying so hard to not be a Karen but this location has some improvements that definitely need to be made. The good employees also need raises if they are the only ones pulling their weight and doing their job right since it does seem to depend on the people and never the order itself.
