Black Rock Coffee Bar

Enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee here. Staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. There is a drive-thru, as well as indoor and outdoor seating. Venue is very clean and pleasant. A modest selection of baked goods, breakfast tacos, and bagels is available, baked locally. Overall a nice experience for a coffee shop if you are in the area.

Open early fresh coffee and a delicious muffin. What more do you want? Quick drive through quick service inside. A good experience.

Now I need to comment on the several complaints about loud music and rude people working here. I have never had a rude experience at this location in fact all of the people that work there have always been quite Pleasant. The music is a bit loud but it is an upbeat Pleasant environment. The music is just fine as it is.

People complaining about working or studying here might want to realize that this establishment is trying to generate income so that it can stay in business as well as employing the eight people I saw standing behind the counter working their butts off. If you need peace and quiet to study or work you might want to purchase your coffee and go somewhere to do so.

Round Rock Coffee Bar is a much nicer location as it is than any of the local Starbucks. Yes they play music yes it's a bit louder than normal. No it is not annoying and no the staff is not rude.

First timer here! I ordered Hot Caramel Blondie coffee and it was surprisingly good. Like really, really good. My order was taken and in less than five minutes, I got my coffee. I was tempted to try croissant which looks really good but I've just eaten snack. Maybe next time. The store is clean, it looks nice and comfy. Service is good and fast. We'll try other items on the menu next time.

I love this place!
Coffee tastes good, the service is always A++ and they have a loyalty program.
I travel 20 minutes from my house every morning just to come here! ❤️❤️

Went my first time last month. The girl closing that Sunday evening was super sweet and handled the few in-store customers well, like myself, along with the drive thru while being an hour from closing. It was a great first-time experience. Love the vibes inside and I asked the girl to watch my drink for me while I went to the restroom and she left the sweetest little note! She was very personable and kind. Black Rock - you have my business! Kudos to @hailiebarber and @dtkaustin for posting about this place which prompted me to check it out⚡️🖤

Afternoon shift with Bella and Kendal was pleasant, efficient and quality service. Whether you want to customize an iced tea or bury your lips in a delicious craft brewed coffee - your taste buds will thank you. Don’t forget to tip! They provide awesome service with great delivery. Enjoy! (Oh - and the bathrooms were REALLY clean). Great job ladies!

Sweetest staff EVER. Even after being away for 2 months- they remembered me and my order. Always smiling and making me feel super loved/welcomed. Although I moved further away, I still make the 30 min drive to see them every morning. Not only for the delicious coffee, but for the phenomenal staff❤️

11 out of 10, highly recommend. Lived in Colorado for 3 years and this was our go-to coffee bar. Just recently moved back to Texas and found they had come to Austin, we had no clue they built a few stores here. Now they need to get one in Dallas. Not a coffee person? You have to try one of their "Fuel" energy drinks. I have a hard time not drinking "Monsters", so this would be my go-to if I needed something other than coffee.

I think they sell the worst coffee in this area. Not just once I have tried their coffee multiple times and every time I have been disappointed. They cannot even make latte, that tastes like detergent, the money you are charging it doesn't justify the quality and taste. Lot of improvement needed.

I judge a coffee shop based on three things.
1. Atmosphere
2. How their espresso works with their caramel
3. Their Chai

The new Black Rock Coffee Bar in Round Rock offers a pleasant atmosphere. The music is loud, which can be off-putting, but adjustable. The white interior offers a modernity that might retract from feeling like "home," though. The only bar to sit at is a window corner. The space is small, but not many people would expect a place to sit like I do. I love coffee bars for reading purposes, so I might knock them down for purely peaceful surroundings, but there is a nook in the back that would offer a great place to study for a few hours.

Their Caramel "Blondie," made with white chocolate was fantastic. Having just gone through Covid (I was negative WEEKS before trying Black Rock), my taste might not be the most trustworthy, but the latte was strong enough to know that it was very flavorful. Very sweet, for sure, which is a sensation not taken away by Covid (just flavor).

I came back the very next day to try their Chai. I was also impressed. I'd try them again and again, and they're great enough to break an addiction to Starbucks.
