I was told the sandwich I ordered had no kind of dressing on it. Got to where I'm sleeping for the night and the bread was soaking wet with vinegar and mustard, had to throw the bread away. Also ordered potato soup and they gave me broccoli soup and no spoon to eat it with. I called and asked for a manager and the girl that answered said she was the manager. Told her what happened and she said to come back and they would replace it. I asked if I could come tomorrow instead of tonight and she said she wasn't sure, but she would check. So obviously she lied about being the manager. After a full 5 minutes, the manager came in, I had to tell the whole complaint over again. She said I can come tomorrow to have it replaced. I will get it replaced, because it was almost $13, but I won't go back after that because the girl lied to me about being the manager because she was the only cashier and was afraid she would get in trouble.

No Problem Houston

Doordash/Online orders are bottom of priorities. It takes 15 to 20 minutes, at least, to pick up an order that had already been placed. To-go and dine-in customers can place orders and receive food in the amount of time I stand waiting for a order that was placed well before they arrived. Then coincidentally my order is ready after 30 minutes and I ask for an update. Like it had been sitting on the back counter the entire time.

Again, not a single incident. This is always the case. Dine-in gets priority above all.

I used to eat here all the time, but stopped going here for about a year. The day before yesterday I decided to order curbside pickup, when I got home I noticed the portions were way smaller than they used to be. BUT that was not that main issue, I eat my salad and baked potato and go to bed a few hours later. I woke up around 3am with severe vomiting. Fast-forward to later in the day, I can’t hold down anything and i’m still vomiting, so I go to the hospital. At the hospital I was diagnosed with food poisoning, and they linked it probably back to the cold chicken that was in my salad. I’m now on so many prescriptions, and had to spend hours in the hospital to get diagnosed. Absolutely disgusting and I will never go back to any McAlister’s after this experience.

Placed an online order of drinks & cookies to be ready for 6:15pm. The order wasn’t ready until 6:45pm & one of the items was incorrect. This isn’t the first time this has happened either.

This is the very first time I have ever given a negative review to anyone, but this is the 2nd time I have had this experience. I have placed curbside orders two different Sundays at lunch time. The second time time, I ordered at 11 thinking it may not be too busy.
Both times, my numerous phone calls letting them know I was there per instructions on the sign were never answered. I have a 5 month old and she had just gotten to sleep so curbside was the best choice for me. Both times, I had to take my daughter in to get my order.
The first time, I had to wait inside for about 20 minutes until I finally retrieved my food from the side kitchen.
The second time, I waited in my car for 15 minutes past when my order was said to be ready. Then, I went inside to find my order in the pick up cubbies. I selected curbside on my order.
The only reason I continue to return to McAlister's is because I love the food and tea but their online order system at this location needs improvement. If they are short staffed, then they need to let people know to come inside instead of waiting in their car with their calls not being answered.
Thank you for reading my review and considering changes that need to take place at the Weatherford McAlister's.

I get it everyone is short staffed but you’d think they are trying to waste your time here. 45 min wait easy if you order take out. 80% of the time you call they don’t even pick up the phone

I was there on the 14 of July and to be honest with you I was in a really bad mood. But a lady there had me laughing so hard before I left. Her name is Melissa and I’m so glad that I stopped at McAlisters tonight.

Incredibly rude manager, named Caroline! We came in for dinner and had a question about my receipt since it was kids with costumes eat free and we weren’t discounted. The manger walked away and told me to wait with her back to me. I walked to front to ask the cashier (who was very sweet) and the manger turned around put her hand in my face and told me to sit down and wait. I’m not a dog and don’t take commands. I will never be back to this location. I don’t care if you’re having a bad day you don’t treat people, much less a customer, that way. I work in the service industry and know how to properly treat people.

The service was okay, when a lady saw that I had been waiting, she asked me for my name so she could check on my order, it was another 15 minutes before they brought my food out. I waited 30 minutes to be given cold food (we had the Philli cheesesteak) which was disappointing, the tortilla soup was still warm and it was pretty good.

Five Star on a disaster day. Only had a quarter of normal staffing (hey, it happens). Volleyball teams placed pickup orders which slammed kitchen. And soda machine DOA. Water, tea, lemonade only. Staff announced repeatedly that wait times could be at least 25 minutes for food as folks came in. I stuck around, ordered, had great food in the dine-in area, and was entertained by walk-ins customers throwing tantrums of not being able to get what they wanted IMMEDIATELY! The staff performed ABOVE and BEYOND on a very bad day, yet never lost their professionalism & cool service demeanor (unlike some of their childish customers). Keep on keeping on McAlister's Weatherford. Tomorrow will be better. This longtime customer appreciates what you do, especially when facing problems that would make a normal food service worker cry. You are good folks & McAlister's should be proud of you.
