Gainz Bakery Cafe & Prepared Meals

I don't want to complain, but this should be addressed: I went today for lunch because I heard only amazing things about this place. I have to say the food is amazing but the service I had was awful and made me feel like I didn't belong there. I mentioned to the guy working (late 30s, bald, and working the counter) that I had not been there before and looking at the menu I didn't know what to try. He gave a snarky remark that it was a personal choice for what I wanted and if I needed further information all the details were on the board above. The descriptions of the lunch bowls were completely foreign to me and he was rude, bothered, and unhelpful. I didn't leave a tip because it wasn't really a dine in restaurant and I could tell that made him even more annoyed. We sat outside (just a suggestion fans would be awesome) it was a bit hot, and there are flies galore. Maybe I caught this guy on a bad day or just don't belong there being a twig not a body builder but this guy kinda ruined the experience for me.

Delicious healthy food! Just had the chicken burger it was amazing! Little pricey but eating healthy is definitely not cheap these days. Great service friendly people. Will go back again. Possiblity look into the meal plan options.

Aways a great experience, Thank you! I purchased two cakes for my favorite ladies birthdays. Triple layered chocolate with raspberry filling for my bride and a sweet vanilla cinnamon churro for my little EV. These cakes were absolutely AMAZING! AMAZING! I know I don't have the names exactly correct and the cakes often change. Ask about these cakes! AMAZING!

It is so exciting and refreshing to get real, fresh food and not worry about gluten or dairy for our intolerances. Plus the food is so delicious! Definitely my new go to....

***MILITARY DISCOUNT*** I have wanted to visit this cafe for far too long and I am so happy I finally got to enjoy their food. This cafe can satisfy any dietary need. Are you gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian or keto? They can make that! When I inquired about my dietary restrictions, they were knowledgeable in what I should order and gave me options! The deserts were perfect. Not too sweet but just sweet enough to satisfy that sweet tooth. The iced Island coffee was delicious! 😋

Soooo yummy! This is the best spot for healthy meals in Comal County. Everything is delicious and they are super careful about keeping it all within either a balanced or low carb plan. Thank you guys, you make it easier to keep it clean and real

Heard very nice things about the restaurant, called ahead to double check open hours as I am handicapped on a mobility scooter... After arrival and much trouble parking where I could offload my scooter, proceeded around back to enter only to find a step up in order to enter... no one came to assist so husband went back to car to procure a small portable ramp, after him getting the ramp in place and trying to enter we were finally greeted by an abrupt person stating they were closing (3:pm) were made to feel very unwelcome and cold!
Probably will not return... so sad, was really looking forward to some healthy vegan options! Not really accessible...

NOT inaccurate.... called ahead and were told open till 6:pm arrived around 3: and were treated very cold after all our effort... coming from San Antonio area. Seems at least your answer could be more understanding and compassionate.
