Gainz Bakery Cafe & Prepared Meals

This place is freaking awesome! I’ve been eating here for lunch everyday for about the past month while I’ve been working in New Braunfels and sticking to a strict Keto diet. The food always tastes incredible, is very satiating, and above all leaves my body feeling great knowing that I put great fuel in it. The people are always friendly and remember my face when I walk in with my order ready to go without having to say a word. I wish there were a lot more restaurants like this one. 10/10

Awesome business! Ketogenic and vegan options. The food was very well flavored. Had sweet treats that are keto. Additionally, the menu changes weekly to keep things fresh and new.

The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. The location was INCREDIBLY nice and the outdoor seating was modern and gorgeous!

I can't recommend this business enough!

Came for breakfast but they were out of eggs. No problem went for doughnuts and cupcakes. GREAT SERVICE!
Today we got cheesecake and pumpkin spice cupcake. Yummy!

The food is decent but the shakes are way overpriced. They are watered down and not good at all I can make better protein shakes with my ninja. Also staff is not very Friendly I asked to split a shake in two cups and they wanted to charge me for it. Really? For an extra cup? Its a cool concept but I won't be returning.

I use the meal prep as well as nutrition coaching service offered by Gainz. My Coach, Macy, is absolutely amazing! She dials in all of my meals not only to my nutrition and fitness needs but also to my taste! Before using their services I felt as though my workouts and emotions were on a roller coaster ride. I tried every diet I could google search and nothing worked. I used to hear people talk about how nutrition and exercise could change your life, but always thought it lived in the land of make-believe, until being recommended to Gainz. When I have a craving, they have a fix...that tastes even better than those L'il Debbies the hubby has stashed away in the pantry. You want ranch? ... they got it! In the mood for some tacos? ... not a problem! Or how about that super juicy double decker burger ... yup got that, too. And it's all HEALTHY! ... but tastes just as sinfully delicious as those other fat-loaded options. And if their food isn't already good enough, their customer service is amazing! Every morning as I am walking in they already have my breakfast waiting as well as my morning coffee :). This might seem like a small task, but in the world in which we live where people cannot even remember to say "thank you', this is HUGE! I always know they have both my back and best interests at heart. If you have not stopped in or tried their food, I highly encourage you to do so, it will be the best decision you have ever made. Gainz Bakery is a game changer and I am so thankful to have a business like this in the area in which I live. Thanks y'all! I don't know what I would do without you!

Absolutely amazing experience. One of those businesses you leave in a better mood because everyone in the building is so nice, pleasant, and helpful. Amazing healthy breakfast with some incredible macro friendly unique treats made in house. Highly recommend.

I have been here two times. The first time was great, I ordered online and it was made on time and was exactly what I ordered. However, this last experience was so bad, I won't be returning.

I ordered online and my food was to be ready within 30 minutes. I ordered at 12:22 pm and arrived at the location at 12:50 and my food was not ready until 1:15 PM.
There was no apology for the inconvenience.
I ordered a veggie dish, as I am a vegetarian and i found two chunks of chicken in my food, as well.

All around a bad experience.

All I ask is that you have consideration for someone who mentions they are on a time crunch and the 30 minute window has passed.
I am a customer to your small business. The quality of service is just as important if not more so, than the taste of the food.

Was really excited to try Gainz Bakery, as I am a type 1 diabetic who follows a fairly strict autoimmune diet. Being a “diet conscious” restaurant, I thought Gainz would be a great choice. Unfortunately, the menu provides little clarification on ingredient usage, and when I tried to clarify to ensure the ingredients of their bowls were foods I could have the cashier was short and lacked appropriate clarification of their menu. I ended up eating a bowl filled with ingredients I would not have ordered had I known they contained them and left with a stomach pain. With a “diet conscious” restaurant, I would expect that ingredients are well laid out and staff is eager to educate patrons on the menu. I did not find either to be true and will not be returning.

This place is awesome! The lunch food is deliciously REAL food! The bakery items are so good that you’ll wonder how it’s made with such fresh ingredients. The staff members are friendly & the environment has a great down-to-earth vibe! Plus, they care about your dietary needs. What else could you ask for!
