Coffee Dog

Order a caramel latte and could not taste any caramel. Furthermore, the coffee tasted burnt. Always looking for a good coffee shop. Unfortunately, this place did not make the list.

My first time eating there and it was good. I got the club sandwich and it was worth it. They give you your money worth in the portion of food. I recommend the Coffee Dog. I have found a new place to eat breakfast and lunch.

This place is amazing!! Great coffee and yummy snacks! The jalapeño scone and cinnamon roll are MUST try’s! Add the friendly service and you made a loyal customer in me.

Excellent coffee and friendly service. I wish I'd known about this place sooner! They have a decent selection of sugar free syrups as opposed to just one or two. I had the turtle mocha with sugar free syrups and it's so good! I have yet to try the food, but I plan on trying at least one salad before I leave. This will be my go-to coffee stop when I visit Bastrop from now on!

Stopped in on road trip. I always support local shops hince the 4 star. Although they roast their own beans, it's the run-of-the-mill 2nd wave burnt dark roast. If that's your thing, great. 3rd wave seekers look elsewhere. Also I ordered an Americano but was given a drip instead. No crema what-so-ever. I didn't drink the cappuccino either. Let's do better.

Finally tried this place and it did not disappoint! I love scones and their raspberry white chocolate scone warmed up is the best I've ever had. Husband got the Cinnabun one and liked it. We both ordered the Panini sandwich , simple and excellent. Came here again a few days later going into work and husband got Dog Pound Burrito, this is huge and delicious, something we will probably have to share next time. They are super friendly here, great atmosphere. I will be a returning customer for all my breakfast outings.

Plenty of frappe flavor options as well as smoothies, cold drinks, and food & bakery. Honestly everything is pretty fairly priced compared to some of the shops I've been to so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the total. Definitely recommend the shop to anyone passing through - the staff is nice and the shop itself is pretty cozy. Good coffee and food that won't break the bank ☕ 💰

Would never go here again. Mocha is awful. Tastes like powdered chocolate milk horrible flavor. Waited literally an hour for two drinks and two sandwiches. Sandwich was not good it was soggy and cold even though it was supposed to be a hot sandwich. I could've walked into HEB and bought a grab and go sandwich for less that tasted better and I would've saved a lot of time. Employees were nice and blueberry muffin was actually good. I don't like giving bad reviews, but waiting an hour for a soggy gross sandwich was ridiculous.

Italian soda was weak and not sweet at all I ordered a panini nothing special just small and the scone wasn’t very good either but the customer service was very good at drive through

Born and raised in Bastrop, TX. This is the place for great coffee. Love the quiche. Support local small businesses, especially this one!!
