Always great coffee and smiling help staff

Decided we needed a coffee after 3 hours and trip in the afternoon. We went through the drive-thru so I'm not sure how it is on the inside. However, a woman named I believe Jenny? Or Jenna? Greeted us at the window. She was very friendly and the drinks that we purchase were so delicious! I bought the iced mocha drink and it was delicious. Definitely some good drinks here! Also Jenna, I hope you were able to get a better pen after your red one decided to blow up on you!

Stopped here on my way back to Houston. I didn’t see it right away since the back of the facility is facing towards the highway, but I’m so glad I realized it! The tacos here are so good and so are the lattes! Great music 🎶 and the person working the cashier was very kind and helpful. I recommend !

They may be rated 4.5 on Google for their food, but certainly not for their customer service. It's been a while since I've had people be outwardly rude. Apparently missing breakfast by a few minutes and needing an extra minute to look at the menu was the epitome of the worst thing a customer could do. We just paid, tossed the food (which tasted off), and went somewhere else.

Horrible. I've been here twice and never even got to order. The staff looked like they were overwhelmed and it wasn't even during a high peak time. There was FOUR patrons in the coffee shop. The lady in front of me ordered breakfast and the staff looked as if they were bothered by her order. The place was messy and unclean and I do not recommend.

This is definitely my favorite coffee shop that I’ve ever been to. Though Bastrop seems to be growing like crazy, this is the perfect place to come and feel welcomed. It gives such a small town feel in the busyness of Bastrop and the staff is so warm and welcoming. Always kind and always wearing a smile.

They have the best cold brew coffee that I’ve ever had - strong and bold. There are quite a few options for baked goods, snacks, and food. A lot of different drink options as well.

If you find yourself in Bastrop, it would definitely be worth it to give this place a try.

I used to come here regularly with it being one of my favorite places to get a coffee or tea and a little something to eat. The past few times or so I have been have been really disappointing. With my last experience being getting sandwiches with all burnt bread and room temperature smoothies. I spent $50+ on lunch here for me and my kids and luckily had time to go home and fix everything the best I could. Another experience being one of the quiches I ordered tasting like soap (I'm guessing a silicone mold is used and soap was left behind in the washing process). There were a couple more things. I don't plan on returning after several bad experiences almost consecutively and regretting spending the money here. The coffee and tea is fine but these experiences have ruined it for me.

Service is great & my turtle mocha was so tasty! I love their breakfast tacos, they offer a few toppings that are a little different from the average and that sets them apart! This is my favorite coffee shop in Bastrop.

They are always so kind! Even when I order annoying to make frozen drinks and sandwiches right when they open (I can't help myself, seriously the frozen toffee coffee is life changing and the sausage egg cheddar sandwich is so fresh and tasty). Thank you!

We went to Coffee Dog for the first time yesterday, for a late breakfast, during a weekend visit to Bastrop to visit friends. I ordered a breakfast taco, my husband ordered the Dog Pound (a huge loaded breakfast taco/burrito). My taco was substantial. I was pleasantly surprised. A lot of food for the money. I also had a cappuccino. Next time I'll try one of their other espresso drinks. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food we received, and the service was friendly. We'll be back. I've got the place saved on Google Maps. It's also pretty easy to get there from TX-71.
