This has to be one of the worst places that we have ever reviewed. Now given most of the staff was nice. And there is obviously different parts to this place. But as for the buffet part and most of the staff on that area of the place was really not friendly or even cared if they came by and checked on us or refill our drinks. Everything that was in there was hard as a rock other then a couple of the items. Which was kind of good I will have to say there homemade strogan off and catfish was the only eatable thing they had on the whole bar. And there was dirty dishes where you get the clean ones. They where charging people to come in to eat and they never filled anything back up and people was like hey where is the food and they just said oh we are closing in a couple of hours so we are not putting nothing else out in the empty trys and that is so wrong to charge people to eat if you are not going to refill the buffet if you are still open for 2hrs. People save your money do not eat here. Oh and the walls where so filthy look like they had never been clean befor with splattered food and everything else my daughter got mash potatoes and went to eat a bit and there was a ball of hair in it. This place is nasty we ask to talk to a manager and all they would tell us is there is no one available to talk to us.

Very good buffet! Quality southern food and hospitality. Very fair price and if you leave hungry, that's your fault! Didn't have anything on the buffet that I didn't like. First time having BBQ fried bologna and it was great! Awesome little place!

We were driving back to Memphis from Franklin and stopped to charge our EV and decided to check out The Old Country store, which was on the same lot. The store employees were super nice! We ended up getting dinner there, and it was great! They have dishes that brought back a lot of memories from the past. We've added this stop to our travel list anytime we're in the area.

This place was awesome. Great food and lots of great souvenirs and gag gifts.

I was in a group of 17 after church. Although there was a group of 14 just ahead of us, we were seated almost immediately. The ladies room needed some serious attention. There was a wide selection of foods on the buffet and it was good for the most part. The dressing was a little bland and the cobblers (blackberry and peach) needed butter and a tad more sugar. The staff was friendly. The place was a little different from when I'd visited years previously and it now resembles Cracker Barrel with a buffet.

Loved this place!! My first time here, I'll definitely be back! The food was very flavorable, hot, fresh and everything was full. The baked chicken was my favorite! It had a wonderful smoked flavor and the dressing was awesome too. Friendly staff, seating was great too.

Honey let me tell you!! If you are in the area...come through!! The best soul food buffet I've ever been to!! Just a shmorgishborg of comfort!! Yams, greens, crispy chicken, fish, yummy mac n cheese and the list goes on and on!! The sweet tea is amazing and they'll send you off with a to go cup!! On your way out grab some home made goods like jam or jelly in like 20 flavors, pickled peppers, honey, candy, clothes, and nostalgic gifts. Oh an ice cream!! They have an old fashioned ice cream parlor where you can get ice cream cones, sundaes, malts and more!

For many years my family has stopped here when travelling west from VA. The service, ice cream and fudge have been travel topics since the 80's. Now, the staff is very nice but the place is run down, the bathrooms were disgusting, and the fudge isn't what it used to be. We did not eat at the restaurant since much of the place looked dingy. I hope they get things back in order quickly.

The food was like a homemade meal but served in a buffet.

A worker at the Casey Jones Museum recommended this place. I’m thinking they pay her to do so. This was the dirtiest restaurant I’ve seen. I had to go through several pieces of silverware to find a clean fork and spoon. We ate there on a Saturday around 4:30 pm. Had to wait on food to be brought out. I asked 3 times-3 different ppl before they brought out tartar sauce for the fish I waited on. They had 3 different desserts that were empty when we got there and finally asked the waitress if she thought they would ever bring any out 45 mins later. I did watch a worker fix his plate. It looks like he could have mentioned that everything was low on the Buffet. If we hadn’t paid prior to being seated we would have differently left. I’m surprised the health dept hasn’t shut this place down. 1st and last experience at the establishment!
