Brooks Shaw's Old Country Store

Lots of fun here. Great food, great t-shirts and fabulous antique decor. A must visit.

Beautiful rustic and so much history in one place not to mention the food was excellent and big portions for what we got. I enjoyed every single bite and would love to stop back by and get some more of that country cooking

Nice place we had to wait for table but not long and was able to shop in store old fashion candies and country stuff 😀

The food was very good and the services were better. We received our food to go. They gave us everything we would need to have a really good meal in our hotel room.

My favorite restaraunt on the planet. If you haven't eaten here, you are missing out.

They have some pretty good food. Its mostly country kitchen foods like fried chicken, fried catfish, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, rolls, and more. Their cracklin cornbread is wonderful. They have some really nice people working for them. We've never had bad service here. The only downside is that they are really popular so sometimes they are very busy and it may take a bit to get a large party seated. I love to bring my mother-in-law here for the fried catfish. She always enjoys eating here.

Me and my wife were driving through on our way to Mississippi and stopped by for the breakfast buffet and we sure are glad we did! Great food great coffee great sweet tea and very good service and great southern hospitality!! Definitely worth checking out!!

Coming from.Ohio...this is a must have. Stopping at Casey Jones restaurant has been a tradition for my family for years. The food, service, atmosphere is wonderful. Live music occasionally. Old fashioned candy...a resourceful history of education regarding Casey Jones. His life and his legacy. Stores associated with the restaurant on site. Just a wonderful stop.

I didn't get to experience much of this store, but what I did - I fell in love with. I was traveling alone - but plan on coming back with my husband....he would love it even more - especially with the museum.

Update: We made it back as a family. Went through the museum, ate at the restaurant.... looked through the store. Great educational experience and family time spent. ☺️

8/7/2017 3pm. Very good food from the restaurant buffet. Every thing was hot and fresh. Very tasty! Plenty to choose from. If you go home hungry it's your own fault. Lol. Very historical looking, like all the old memorabilia they have around and thru out the store. Excellent! Will defiantly return
You can also visit the museum about Casey Jones and play put put golf as well as visit the shops.
