The best place for coffee, smoothies, and pastries in Chapin! Always friendly staff, clean enviroment and great atmosphere. It's a perfect spot to grab a snack and drink and just stay a while. Personal family favorites: the Hermione Granger (Frozen and half the syrup) and the Frozen hot chocolate.

Great coffee! I ordered a cappuccino and it was well crafted. It is also a bookstore so you can enjoy your favorite cuppa-joe and read a good book. We will be back!☕☕

I just moved to columbia and im a coffee adict. This is literally my favorite place in the the city. I go almost every day. The coffee drinks are the most creative ideas i've ever seen and the atmosphere is amazing. I dont know any of them but they should pay me to sponsor them because its literally my favorite coffe spot i've ever been to and as a military brat i've had my fair share of travel.

The best coffee house around! Employees and owner are so nice and welcoming. Coffee and treats are delicious. Amazing selection of books and a cozy atmosphere.

Love this place! I’m here all the time to get coffee, meet up with friends, knock out some homework, or play music. The staff are all really great and I deeply appreciate their being so welcoming to my music group. Thanks Coffee Shelf!

Always friendly service. Great lattes. Had the cinnamon roll this past visit and it was awesome. Needed a fork to eat it. Good place to meet friends and for business meetings or to just take a few minutes to unwind and relax.

I absolutely love their frozen latte with sugar free syrup (caramel is my current favorite). Service is great and I am happy to support a local business

They have a lot of books for such a small store, and their coffee really stands out. My personal favorite is the Weasley which is hot chocolate mix with vanilla and just a shot or two of coffee. However, my favorite part is how friendly the owners are and how eager they are to contribute to the community. They host poetry slams often, and have special events such as a party for the midnight release of "Cursed Child" by J.K. Rowling. I strongly recommend giving them a visit whenever you can.

Fun and cute little shop with great coffee and pastries!

My only complaint is that they weren't open during my time at Chapin High School! Friendly and fast service, and the blended coffee drinks are terrific! Great selection of books as well.
