Good cafe Americano and Latte. Very nice local coffee shop in Chapin. I also black coffee nothing added and it was smooth, not bitter at all and piping hot like I want my coffee. Thank you very much!

Love this place!! Great coffee, darling staff, great books and goodies to nibble! They also do all sorts of fabulous things for the community like book signings, art shows, and more! My personal favorite is the frozen "Yertle the Turtle"! Happiness in a cup!

Had a great experience, and was happy they were open so early after I got off work! I am excited to try some of their other iced lattes in the future!

I absolutely adore The Coffee Shelf! I am an out-of-towner and always prioritize visiting The Coffee Shelf when I am in the Columbia, SC area. The coffee and other beverages are top notch. My current favorite drink is The Gatsby (salted carmel mocha) and my children love the frozen hot chocolate. The baristas are always so pleasant and knowledgeable. Not to mention the best books are always available to purchase.

I highly recommend visiting The Coffee Shelf! You will not be disappointed!!

Love this little spot. The iced Peppermint Patty is so delicious. They even have homemade treats for dogs, served in a tiny cup with whipped cream lol and the service is great.

A good place to sit and have coffee and read. The owner is very knowledgeable about beans and this coffee shop makes pour over as well. Ask them about their book selection and you will pointed to whatever type of book you are feeling that day. Their menu has lots of different choices and the person behind the counter will help you compare to some of the larger chains so you get what you want that is similar. I love their cappuccino.

Staff very friendly. House coffee has a little bite. Has about 8 different coffee selections. Pour overs routine for nonhouse blends. Although told they are made fresh in the back, the breakfast muffins taste like a common box mix. Cute and quaint environment in a strip mall but lacks personality.

This place is just too cute for words! I'm a Starbucks conisseur, but I think I like this place much better! I also love the bookstore they have in there. My girls love to peruse the shelves whenever we stop by. They definitely have a customer for life!

First time visiting. My coworker brought me here. Quaint with books and such. I just wanted a "cup of coffee" ☕ . Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with what they had. One of the best cups of coffee I've had in a while. Wiññ definitely return.
