The Coffee Shelf

2nd time I've been here. First time had to add my own Splenda to my cappacino. This time they added it in when it was made, per request. The Splenda just sits on the foam if added afterwards. Great service and atmosphere. Love the library feel and comfortable sitting areas. Nice pastry selections but that's about it for food. Overall I recommend the shelf for a relaxing start to your day.

I love this coffee shop! I always get an iced Eyore with oatmilk! Staff is always friendly, and very responsive online and in person! I moved from Chapin but still visit when I get the chance!

Came with a group who's band was playing, and the experience was fantastic. The employees are extremely friendly, the atmosphere is charming and warm, and the band and friends were all given free coffee and cookies, which were phenomenal. Could not be more complimentary. I will certainly come back here.

Everything I have ever had from here is above expectations! Great quality, friendly staff, relaxed environment. Your ultimate local coffee shop that you must visit!!

Was invited to the grand opening of another local business--I'm totally proud of this one. As a business owner, business & media consultant myself, grand openings, atmosphere and a quality product or service can make or break a new business. The coffee was great, I got to buy a book too--which I love, and the free Wi-Fi just made this little coffee shop my place of choice to work away from home. I had just finished an appointment in the area and I'm so glad I had to opportunity to support a local entrepreneur in his new business venture. Congratulations and may the Creator bless you with many more cups of coffee, and great books, for many years to come.

Such a cozy atmosphere to settle in with a good book for a while

I LOVED visiting!! Everyone is so friendly, and knowledgeable. My first drink from The Coffee Shelf was Yertle the Turtle, the next one was Soul Surfer, and the last one was a Charlie Brown. Oh my, everything was so awesome that I can't pick a favorite!!

Nice coffee shop, coffee is OK but it's the only coffee shop in Chapin open before 8 a.m. They seem to have removed their free Wifi.

Holy baby Jesus! The Coffee Shelf Frozen was amazing! I'm actually in awe. It was so good and tasted so fresh and good. Like I'm officially a white girl! Best of luck to the owners! My only concern is the peanut butter, I am allergic and I do hope they sanitize or keep that in mind! I know lots of people allergic to peanut butter and typically we don't worry about it in our coffee! But let me just state again the Coffee shop frozen is amazing.

They had great service and you can come in for coffee, hot chocolate, pastries, tea and more. They also have a comfortable seating area where you can sit and study or do homework or hang out with friends. The library is diverse but doesnt interfere with the seating area, meaning you can peruse the library without getting in other people's way.
