Outrageous prices even with today’s inflation. Medium latte (which was really an industry small) w oat milk was $10.21. I walked in with only a $10 bill while my husband waited outside and I nearly fell over when she said the total. To top it off it tasted MEDIOCRE and that’s being kind. Tourist trap. Custom House coffee in Middletown is the best and reasonable!

Comically overpriced. They charged me $3.95 for a BANANA. They charged a dollar extra for ice in the drink! When all was said and done, the iced chai and banana cost me nearly $20. The coffee was decent, but these prices were so absurd, I would never go back.

Absolutely mediocre experience. I stopped in to just get a simple iced coffee and the owner made this extremely difficult. First of all, she made us wait an extra 10 minutes+ while she was chatting with other customers about pleasantries, nothing coffee related. We were waiting for her to take our order and she didn’t welcome us. We shortly realized that the large cup was an industry small. When I asked for extra oat milk, the owner said that there was no oil in it so she couldn’t give me more??? Needless to say, she didn’t give us our request, it took longer than necessary and the coffee was subpar, despite our high expectations for the aesthetically pleasing shop. The pricing was also outrageously for the quality and order - it was $7 for a “large” iced coffee (not a latte).

When I walked into the store, the setting and music was very pleasant. After waiting in line for about 10 minutes I ordered a medium, which was at long as my index finger. Milk alternatives were a dollar extra and even one shot of flavor is a dollar extra. I think for the size a quality of the coffee it is way too overpriced ($8 for a medium) and a waste of money.

I would give this place a zero if I could. I stopped by to get two espresso
macchiato and was charged for a cappuccino because the lady added a little bit of milk in one of them. When you order an espresso macchiato you will need just a tiny bit of milk and the foam. Of course I returned and said get me the cappuccino I am being charged for. Let me tell you the espresso and the cappuccino was awful. Probably because she got upset. If she told me in advance would have been ok but she charged me the extra dollars without even saying anything. And she will charge you extra money for the plastic cups. Read other people had the same complaint. Be aware of the extra charges here. Zero customer service.

Very friendly staff and great coffee! We saw this place while walking at night time and came back the next day for coffee with a view! The regular coffee and frozen cappuccino did not disappoint, especially while looking out to the water in an Adirondack chair

Go elsewhere or Starbucks down the road. A 10 Oz. standard black coffee for $6 is ridiculous, regardless where you are. Given the coffee is average at best, this place needs to relax their pricing

You HAVE to check this place out when in Newport. I recommend getting up early and walking down to the end of Bannisters Wharf, order your coffee (which is sooo good!) and one of the many yummy homemade pastries and sit in one of the Adirondack chairs and relax. Watch all the yachts and marina views right infront of you to your hearts content. No better way to start a morning in Newport! (Try the chocolate chip bread pudding and thank me later 😉)

You should steer clear of this tourist trap and here is why:
1. Over Priced Beverages, I’m talking $3.95 for a 12 oz house roast and $4.95 for a 12 oz cold brew.
2. The lady won’t serve you low quality “New Port tap water” because it’s not something she or one of the higher up locals would drink, so us peasants shouldn’t have it either, so how then do this place make its ice cubes and blend its coffee?
3. The lady will make sure that you know before you leave that this place was featured on the FoodNetwork (to be honest the coffee isn’t that good)

the coffee is extremely expensive and although the atmosphere was enjoyable, $9 for a medium (which was really the size of a small) iced chai latte is not fair. the flavor was bland and was room temperature even though it had ice in it. the sign on the board said that it was $5.95 which is reasonable for a chai latte, making it iced added $1 and almond milk added another $1 (which was not clear based on the menu board). waste of money and better (cheaper) coffee can be found at many other places in bewport
